Anyone have information on the spa villas? Anyone done this before? Do they book up fast? Thought this would be a nice romantic idea for our honeymoon. Being first time cruisers not sure how hard it will be to get a reservation.

Not sure on ths spa villas since we are first time cruisers too, but that would be a nice thing to do. I hope someone can give you some information on it.

Got some more ideas for FE gifts today. We only have a few people signed up for the FE exchange. It will be tons of fun but I hope more people join!!!

Work, family, and preparing for the holidays has kept me from having any free time to get online for fun stuff. Boy do I need this cruise. It seems like it's just been one thing after another lately. I bet after the holidays are over and we are in the doldrums of winter we will see a lot more folks posting and getting excited.

Happy Day! Got the email yesterday from Disney Cruise line that I can make our Palo's reservations this Sunday! My DH said he'd even go to tea with me if I can get a reservation.

Hi - we're excited to be sailing with you in March! It will be me (42), my DH (38), my DS (4), and DD (3). We sailed this same itinerary in March 2010. We were really stressed with our 2 yr old DS, at the time, just having a major unexpected surgery two weeks prior and our DD only being 1 year old. Disney did not fail to impress! The smallest of things could have set me off and nothing went wrong. The kids loved it and we did as well. I hope you all have similar experiences with this cruise. We're definitely signing up for the FE! We, especially the kids, love the little trinkets and gifts.

I'm looking forward to catching up on the previous posts. We still need to book the flight and hotel the night prior in Orlando.

Welcome!!! I'm glad there is someone else signing up for the FE exchange. I have all these cute ideas and was affraid I would not have many cabins to deliver too. This is our first cruise so I am excited about the FE even though we don't have kids.

Did you get your Palo reservation? I paid off our cruise today but still have to wait 2 weeks to book Palo/excersions. Hope I will have some luck.

Got all the reservations I wanted! I tried for brunch first because that's my favorite thing at Palo's. The system was so easy to use and I was actually able to get my first choice for brunch (Mon), dinner (Tues), and tea (Thurs). If you try for Brunch Mon or Thur and it's not available I read that they also offer it on the Sun (Key West day) because we don't dock until 12:30.
I also booked the Grand Cayman island tour that we talked about. There were 2 times available after you selected it and then clicked on Check Availability, 9:15 and 11:30. I took the 9:15. If that's sold out and you have to take the 11:30 just let me know and I will try to change mine. I was looking at the shore excursions at Castaway Cay and I was shocked that all 17 of the family cabana's were already sold at at $400 per day. It's been 10 years since we've been to Castaway Cay and they didn't have any shore excursions stuff that I remember then except snorkeling equipment and banana boat rides.

This will be the 3rd time I've done tea but my husband's first. He was not really interested before but said he'd do it with me this time since we are traveling alone. Tell your DH that you've heard other hubby's are doing it. If you book Thursday like I did he won't be the only guy there.

That's awesome you got what you wanted. I want to do both dinner and brunch at Palo, but we will see. I don't really want to do brunch on the Key West day since we were thinking of finding a good restaurant there for lunch and having some yummy sea food. I will also cross my fingers for the early Island tour and let you know. Luckily with the 2 hour time difference I won't have to stay up til midnight on the 75th day to book things, just 10pm.

DH had his appendix removed on friday. I feel bad for him but am so glad this happened before the cruise. And he will be nice and recovered by the time we sail.

Wish your DH a speedy recovery from us. That is good that it happened now if it had to happen. He has plenty of time so that he will feel fine before the cruise.

Thanks, I will let him know. Even if it would have happened a month before the cruise he could not swim, no soaking in water for 6 weeks, so yes, if it had to happen, so glad it was this early.

Just got my packet in the mail from DCL. It has Costa Maya, Mexico listed as one of the ports, not Key West. Anyone else get this? It still has Key West on the DCL website.
