Never been to Universal before so I am lost....

We will be there during 4th of July?

Where should we stay? Where can you see the fireworks?

There will be six of us so I need help with a hotel?

Is the fast pass worth the extra money or the two rooms at the hotel?

forgot to add that there will be five of us sleeping in hotel and meeting my friend there. So will that be okay with an onsite hotel. Will she be able to go swim with us, or go to the parks with us with her own ticket or should I stay offsite?

The parks will be packed during July 4. STAY ON SITE. That is if it's not too late to get a room. You will only get five room keys for the FOTL access, so your friend is out of luck.

I know that the Hard Rock Hotel still has rooms available for July 4th. We'll be there then also.

PBH has some rooms as well-we'll be there over the 4th as well. My son is considering coming down and he plans on getting a room for just one night and he has been able to pull up availability, so don't panic just yet. BUT you definately want to stay on site.

It is worth it to stay onsite. There are still some supersaver rates available too. The rooms will allow up to 5 people. Most deluxe rooms at the HRH & PBH have a pull out sofa to accommodate up to 5 people (2 queens), the other rooms you'll need to rent a rollaway for $25 a night. I do believe you will need 2 rooms for 6 people.

Does anyone know if it's worth paying $10 to get the better viewing area at City Walk for the fireworks on the 4th? Well be at DC all day and then will be back in the evening.

Holly, I'm hoping to run into you guys :).
