NEW location Disney Visa Meet 'n Greet

Has anyone gone to the meet 'n greet in the new location?

Thanks I knew it has changed locations just was wondering if anyone had gone to the new location.

The Visa site says "Cardmember-exclusive Character Meet 'N' Greet Event takes place at Seasons of the Vine in Disney's California Adventure® Park (Golden State District)." Is this the same as the vineyard room?

(disclaimer: I've never been to DLR, going first time this December... but I do have a map!)

Looking at my map of DCA, I see an attraction (#40) called "Seasons of the Vine" in the Golden Vine Winery. Description says:

Celebrate California's wine country with the "Seasons of the Vine" presentation.

The Golden Vine Winery looks like it is along the parade route, in the Golden State District, along the back side of the Grizzly River Run.

On the same map, attraction #47 is The Vineyard Room at the Golden Vine Winery. On this "cartoonish" map, it appears to be a separate building.

So, assuming The Vineyard Room is not exactly the same location as the Seasons of the Vine (though they are both in the Golden Vine Winery), and assuming the Visa site's description is correct, then I'd say the M&G is not at The Vineyard Room, but is actually "next door" at an attraction called "Seasons of the Vine."

I'm not sure this helps, because it's not coming from first-hand experience, but I thought I'd share what I found... I too want to know the actual answer.

Seasons of the Vine is the little show about wine making that is never running. To get there, walk up the walkway towards the wine area, through the grape vines, and it will be on your left when you reach the top. You can't miss it.

I did hear from someone else though that they were doing it somewhere in the Animation Building instead.

I think I'll hit the parks tomorrow morning to check it out, I'll post an answer for ya when I find out.

Character Meet 'N' Greet

* Cardmember-exclusive Character Meet 'N' Greet Event takes place at Seasons of the Vine in Disney's California Adventure® Park (Golden State District).
* Must present a valid Disney Rewards Visa Card for admission (limited to 6 people per card).
* Begins when the park opens and runs for 90 minutes.
* Each Cardmember group will receive one complimentary 5x7 group photo with Disney characters; additional photos will be available for purchase.

It's a chance to meet and visit with some Disney characters, with great photo opportunities.

Just make sure it's a "DISNEY" Visa, and you're set!

It is in the building that you have labeled Seasons of the Vine. We did the meet & greet on Sept 18th and that is where it is.

Could anyone tell me what characters are there? TIA

Before the site moved to it's new location, Chip and Dale were there for the 45 minutes and then it was Mickey Mouse and Goofy. Please correct me if there are new characters. Is the meet and greet for the same amount of time when it was at the old location?

I'm pretty sure it is the same time. Mickey & Goofy are usually there first for 30 min, then Chip & Dale, then Mickey & Goofy. It lasts 1-1/2 hours total.

Last time we went we managed to get there as mickey and pluto were leaving and chip and dale were arriving so we saw all four, it was fun.

Haven't been to the new location, but at the old location it was Mickey & Goofy or Pluto for the first 1/2 hour and last 1/2 hour. It was Chip and Dale for the middle 1/2 hour. I haven't been able to figure out a pattern for who is with Mickey. The characters wore sailor outfits when they were in Ariels. Do they still?
