In honor of pork barrel spending, I am proposing this new law be added to some upcoming legislation because it will add so much to the quality of life in this country at minimal expense.
"I hearby declare that from this day forward, all semi tractors pulling flat bed trailers MUST clearly state what they are carrying so people either following behind or passing from the other direction will know what that "stuff" is.
"
History: Over the course of several years we would see flatbed trailers heading west on I-20 through Fort Worth carrying a single big molded "thing". Turns out they were the housings for the wind turbines heading to the windfarms in west Texas and New Mexico. A simple sign stating "Wind Turbine Housing" would have saved me a great many brain cells that I wasted pondering what they might be.
