New Laptop

My Dell laptop has offically died after only 18 months

I really need a new one asap and need some advice..things im looking for are obviously Windows 7, using for internet/music/surfing/chatting and i'd really like to play sims 3 on it...which i know takes memory and speed.

I have around £400 to spend and I don't mind Dell again, but prefer not Sony as i've heard the parts are expensive to replace.

Anyone got any suggestions...

Try looking at some of the Acer laptops.

I think you will struggle with getting SIMS 3 to run properly on a low spec. laptop though.

Thanks Tim. I have been looking mainly at the Acer ones just because you get better spec for your money! But theres loads of them!

Chap at work has just got an Acer from Tesco Direct for his mum and dad. They seem to have a good choice of various makes and models at good prices.

Thanks, there is one on Ebuyer for £399 with windows 7...not sure though
