New Jiko Menu?

I keep reading some reviews that are talking about a new menu at Jiko(more authentic - no pistachio creme brulee). Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have a copy of the menu? Trying to decide to keep or change ADR.

Thanks:)

I'd like to know also. We were going to give it a try this trip but if they don't have the bbq flatbread app. I think I'll pass.

It looks a little different (according to WDW's website anyway). It still showed the BBQ chicken flatbread and the pistacio cream brule...*shrug*

OP - I would love to see a new Jiko menu as well - we will be going to Jiko regardless because it is my fav. Maybe if you edited your title to say "New Jiko Menu?" you would get more replies

I noticed the new Jiko menu on the WDW site does not have the short ribs on it anymore. This was one of my favorites here.

Does anyone else find it ironic that people rave about Jiko for being "interesting," "different," and an opportunity to try new "African" flavors, but then when a few taste-tested menu items are replaced with something different, people start saying they might just go somewhere else? This happened in another thread more than here ("No more pistachio creme brulee!", "They better not change that filet with mac n' cheese!" etc.), but I still found it interesting. Signature restaurant menus change pretty often (although this change may be more drastic than usual), and there's always a chance that your favorite dish could be changed or gone during your next visit (unless it's a staple on the menu, like Artist Point's mushroom soup).

I had a meal at Jiko around 3 weeks ago. The authentic malva pudding dessert (yes, I know it's authentic because I've spent a lot of time with family in South Africa) was the highlight of the meal, especially compared to some of the overspiced and overworked appetizers and entrees. I'd like to see more authentic dishes on the menu (most of the menu, especially the entree section, seems the same as before the new chef arrived).

:scared1::scared1::scared1: NO!!!! Say it isn't so!!! That was one of our favorite dishes! Actually it was the main reason I love going to Jiko. I love those ribs!:lovestruc I will be extremely disappointed if they are no longer an option for our trip in February.:sad2:

Wow. As far as I'm concerned, that may be one of the best dishes in all WDW. Or, I guess, WAS one of the best dishes in all WDW.

I agree, it was the best dish at WDW. I'm a little concerned about the new menu, but will be back in October and I'm sure it'll still be a great meal. Just need to find a new favorite now!!

I agree also that this was one of the best dishes, second only to the ostrich appitizer, which is also not on the new menu. Sigh... I guess I'll have to try a whole new meal next time.
