New "It's a Small World" ride -- all I can say is WOW!!

We actually have been to WDW once before since IASW was reopened after the renovations but it is not one of my "must do" rides and we skipped it. Decided to ride it at MNSSHP since it was walk on. WOW!!!! Yes, we have made fun of the song and DH and DS acted like they would rather die than ride it with us, but by the end even they had to admit it was cool.

Not only is it cleaner and brighter, but there is so much attention to detail and more countries represented. I really wish we had gone through it a couple more times because there was too much to really take in on one trip.

So, even if you were not previously a fan of IASW, I would strongly suggest you give it another try. I think that Walt would be really proud!

I totally agree!! We rode IASW in September and I was shocked at how great the old girl looked. I haven't been on that ride for 8 years since it was closed for rehab during our Dec 2004 trip.

This is great news. When I was there in Feb it was obviously still closed, and this is one of the rides I have never been on so I will beable to see it on my Feb 06 trip.

I must have missed something but the inside seemed the same to me, anyone have photos to compare it to. Where they load the boats though was completely different for sure, I like it, way better than the photos on the walls. I love the clock!

This is great news! IASW is one of my FAVORITES from when I was little and it was closed in WDW in '96 and DL in '02 - the last time I visited these parks - I can't wait to go on in Dec.! Thanks for the good news!
