Anyone else getting that feeling once they are releasing a large number of rare items?

I can just hear the ranting all the way at work.

I just had a feeling that the green flip hat was coming back out. So many people wanted it to stay "rare".

What they don't understand is that it was extremely popular when it came out and stayed that way. To most people, it's just a really cool green hat. So most people want it. It will be rare again soon enough.

Now I get to stock up on it again!
Love the Lilo dress and Koro pin too!

Not necessarily. It was time for the green flip to be re-released. It's been 21 months since the hat was out.
As for the tiki stuff, that was to be expected since it is Tiki month.

Well, yes, of course...

But I had this vision of VMK Closing several months back. I figured, it would close once they started releasing a large number of rares: they wanted to give everyone a chance to own the item before the end.

Now looking at this situation: Peter Pan hat, Princess Dresses, Flip Hat, all rereleased in the past couple weeks.

We are barely into August... what's next?

All I have to say is thank God I only traded full Tron for my flip three months ago.. At least I don't feel like a total fool!!

Now if Minnie gets re-released I will cry!! I traded tons for rare for that not to mention magic.. OMG!!

I think anything that was sold in the stores will be up to be re-released.. Park stuff will probably be safe.. ( So my bird will become more and more rare.. YAY!! )

I still say they should change the colors!! I would kill for a purple flip or a black gown!! Boo.yeah!!

OMG!! I'm SOooo glad the Flip hat is on sale!! I've seen it go for ridiculous amonts of items! I know many of you are going to hate me for posting this but, I'm GLAD that they're rereleasing certain items! It gives more people a chance to obtain them after missing them the first time around. It's been almost 2 years since the Flip hat was on sale, and it was about time for VMK to resell them. (Hopefully they'll rerelease Minnie soon too )

Gray mansion would be awesome. Everyone's is complaining that rare items are being rereleased. Why? You all knew it was bound to happen sometime. So what if the item goes down in value, you had it while it was rare. If your that worried, then trade it. If not, then don't complain, because you only want it because it's rare.

Green Flip? Surprising I suppose, but not much with the return of the Pan Hat. I'd expect to see the Musketeer and Princess Hats in the next few weeks. Anyone know the order of their original release? Are they going in the same way now?

What they need to do is start releasing for sale some of the really sacred cows... the Pink Tiki, Mighty Eye, Inferno, Cyan Ariel, Red Teepee, etc. That'd polarize everyone - You'd have half the people rantingly Mad (ie people who already have it, especially those that recently traded the moon for it) and the other half estatically Happy (those that dont' have it).



The new shirt is nifty. But, where are my matching Tiki shorts/pants? Girls get two parts to their dress... As usual Yavn and team favor the Ladies. Egad.

The new pin? Eh. Tiki pins aren't really my thing. Sure, I'll buy one for my set, and maybe another or two for future trading, but I don't think this will be a hugh draw.

The queue for Ned's is insane. I couldn't figure out why, until I realized some people have started a rumor that cowboy is for sale, which it is not. Why do people do this?

This is not the first time they have rereleased "rare" items - last year they rereleased all the princess dresses, the black cowboy and black mansion, plus the Native headdress, the sorcerer hat was a price with the treasure magic, so this is not groundbreaking precedent setting, this is normal, even if it is a little accellerated.
