New Items 1-19 / New Poll 1-18 MERGED

Disney is a big corporation. Could it be that their funding of the division that manages VMK is on a limited budget. Small operation? It sure acts like it. Worse yet, if they have "farmed" out the management of VMK to a different organization that could consist of only a hand full of people then what we have been experiencing would make sense. Disney as a corporation would know better than to manage VMK in this way. They have people that specialize in just this type of thing. Look at Disneyland and WDW! Look at their events! VMK must be small potatoes as far Disney is concerned. Not bringing in any revenue or very little compared to the the other two I have just mentioned.

Using "Contact us" on VMK will only get us the management of VMK, which might or might NOT be under Disney Corporate management. Instead, we maybe should be going up the ladder and contact someone in the Disney corporation itself. Any thoughts?

I suggested the same thing in Belle's thread. I don't think Contact Us is ever going to get us anywhere in terms of having our (valid) issues with the game heard and addressed. So, I think it's pretty clear complaints need to be lodged at a higher level.

I agree, Disney doesn't usually manage things so poorly. Although Disney is the company that brought us such gems as "Home on the Range," so even they are not immune to bad decision making skills, apparently. ;)

What is the point of single use magic? Don't really get that
Not everyone can afford 10,000 credits for magic. For some, buying many single use magics at a few hundred credits each is what they can afford to have their fun.

Who in the heck is managing VMK lately? It appears that there is little to no advanced planning for most of the things that are going on. No professional thought appears to be going into much lately
Not really sure what the new list of items has to do has to do with vmk management, advanced planning, or less professional thought.

As for the 1* star teleportation magic, that was a park quest reward. It has been stated by Yavn that in park quest would never been released in game.

Just a thought on why some of these new items, starting today, are being offered, beyond the obvious -for us to buy.

Could it be for hosts to be able to offer some variety in those 5 a week quests?

There have been 2 quests already this week, and what was the prize? The magic table. Now how many do we really need of those?

Now, they can add variety with not only the chair or hat, but giving out the single use magics as prizes.

Personally, I already have those magics and would find it a useless prize to get a single use. But it would be infinitely better than receiving 5 magic tables a week to the end of the month, as I do enjoy doing the quests simply because they are quests.

I thought I had lost it last week when I looked Friday morning to see no new items and then came here after the weekend to see that there were new items after all. So are they going to release new items on Saturday from now on?

I agree with everyone about the single use magic...as for the sorcerer hat, I think it's a great magic item. Of course I just recently got it so naturally they re release it again. It seems like everytime I finally obtain something that used to be rare they re release it or I inadvertently trade something else super rare for it right before they release it again. Ah vmk murphy's law I suppose.

well my thought is that for players that can not efforf any magic this is a chance to have some at least try it.

If I was just starting VMK I would have loved just trying it :)

Quest prizes are a good example of a place to use a single use pin.

I dont use them/buy them either, but someone must be. Not sure they would want to waste their time when the could be fixing our magic carpet magic :rotfl:

DO NOT go there young man!! That Flying Carpet magic is a huge sore spot for both Fly and myself!! I have been saving since Sept 2005 when they said "save for it"!! With over a million credits saved since that day, just how much are they planning to charge for it? Again.. DO NOT go there A!! ;)

You of all people should know what happens when my feathers get ruffled! :goodvibes

Well, it looks like I can save credits this weekend. :)

Not an exciting weekend, but that's ok. I haven't been on much lately. So my credits are starting to get low.

Did any of this stuff actually come out? If so, could you tell me how much it all is?
