So, the trailer for the IT reboot has been released. The movie is definitely different than the first one..totally different vibe.

I watched the original when I was a late teen (I rented it from the library LOL) and was TRAUMATIZED by it. The sight of Pennywise gave me goosebumps. Years later I somehow ended up with a copy of IT and I threw it out. I couldn't even have it in my house.

Last year, IT was on a tv channel so I decided to confront my fear and watch it again. It was nothing like I remembered. It was creepy, but also campy and lame lol

I have my doubts about seeing the new one. Sorry for the ads after, it's the only trailer I could find.

I have to say that looks pretty fun. However, if the real monster is the same, it's going to end dumb no matter what. Stephen can write a great novel, but he has issues ending them LOL.

Love Stephen King...cannot wait to see this, and yes...the ending in the original disappointed me (not speaking for others)

I don't think it will be as good as the first one was. I really liked the adult cast of the first one. We shall see I guess.

The actor who plays Pennywise is Alexander Skarsgard's little brother. He also plays in the Netflix show called Hemlock Grove. He's a good actor! I'm excited.

I liked the book (didn't love it), but I went through a huge Stephen King phase when I was growing up. I don't think I watched the miniseries - I prefer scary books to scary movies, and I don't think I'll end up seeing this unless it gets amazing reviews. It seems weird, though - I heard that this is only part 1 - with the kids. If it does well, part 2 will have the adults.

The tv miniseries was terrifying...for the first half. The second half of it was such a disappointing bunch of lameness. And that stink-o ending?? That's my beef with Stephen King. Man can't seem to write a decent ending. This new version looks similarly creepy and scary, but we don't do scary movies.

Now that new Spiderman trailer...wowser!

I love Stephen King but I have to agree with you. Sometimes he can take too long describing something and some of his endings are less than ideal. I think the one I was most disappointed in was The Dome. Such a long book with a bad payoff.

Totally agree!! I was so mad at the ending to that book. Such a great story and then, ugh seriously???

I'm with you guys. I loved the book, especially reading the history of Derry which really connected you to the to the town. Love the Loser's Club. But darn, the ending to the movie was strange but the book was even crazier.

Although since this is only the kids' story it won't get that far.
