New Ipod broken -- $200 down the drain

Try the rice...it worked for my friend and she put hers in a glass of water by mistake (cup holder in the car).
I think you should replace it for him since it was in a charger where the baby could reach it. Then tell him the charger will be in a higher baby safe place from now on!

Did you keep it in the rice the whole time? I wish I could hear a positive story about an Ipod coming back to life.

I kept it in the entire 2 weeks - actually I think the instructions I read was to leave it in the rice for 48 hours, but I forgot about it (had an old cell phone reactivated for that time).

It worked right away again after the 2 weeks.
