We received a mailing from the IPO for our stay at the Polynesian. It is a new form...at least for us. There is a welcome letter and a 3 page questionnaire which appears to be formatted for on-line use at some point because it has "click here" as an option for some questions.

Has anyone else received this for other resorts?

Sorry if this is old news.

I am not sure about the other resorts but the Polynesian has had the electronic file version for a little over a year now.

Aloha

Steve

I got the same version for WL Concierge.

Wow, we were at the Polynesian in concierge in October and didn't get this form in the mail nor did I get an on-lne form although I did communicate via email about arrival time, etc..

The same was true for our 3/04 trip. Our summer of '04 and 2/05 trips were not in concierge. Did you receive a larger package via snail mail, too?

That would make sense because Polynesian IPO takes care of Wilderness lodge concierge.

BCV23,

I did not get the electronic version or anything in the mail last August when we stayed concierge but that was because Magical Vacations took care of any requests I had with the IPO and I had been in contact with some of the staff I know in the IPO about our trip. I did get an electronic list with our Itinerary confirming any arrangments we had made but that was just before we left.

I knew about the electronic Itinerary to fill out because they sent it to me to give to anyone who had not gotten one in the mail and needed one.

Aloha

Steve

zagafi, it appears that this is a form to be sent to all concierge guests, doesn't it? It lists the contact info for all the deluxe resorts. Did you receive it recently?

Thanks, Tikiman. Aloha!

Our last stay in October 2004 we received the "old" style concierge form, not the "new" version.

The electronic form I was talking about is specifically for the Polynesian with their information and email address and is in Microsoft word format. Is this the one you are talking about? Also Tess was nice enough to send me scanned copies of the mailed version and it is different.

The cover letter was specific to the Polynesian and on the same type of paper that the Polynesian has used before.

But the questionnaire is not specific to any resort. In fact, it doesn't even mention being a concierge guest although it is "signed" Walt Disney Resort Concierge Cast Members. In fact, I would think it might be something that could be mailed to any VIP or specific groups, etc.. And it does list all the deluxe resorts and contact #, fax and email addresses.

It offers to make transportation arrangements, asks for birthdays of all guests and has lots more room for specific dining PS requests, childcare, tee times, etc.. It asks for flight #s, too. It is a much more comprehensive form than we have received before.

I received it for the WL. It was the same copy I received via snail mail. The fax # I had was for poly, but they take care of the WL conc. also. (i think).

I also received this in 2003 for our honeymoon.

I haven't used email to contact concierge at all, just phone, and they always send me the old mail version--so I have never seen the electronic questionnaire version. I wonder if they sent the OP the electronic version by snail mail because they were temporarily out of the "old" paper versions?
