I had an iPhone 4 and had all of my hotmail folders on it. When I add hotmail to my new iPhone 5s, I can only see my inbox. What do I need to do to snc all of my folders?
You will probably have to add the email accounts back into the new phone. I can't remember exactly but I think that's what I did and all the info was still there. Just go to settings, mail, add account. It has to be easy or I could never have done it.
I do this too. If your screen says "Inbox" at the top, go back (tap the left arrow at the top). Then it should say "Mailboxes" at the top, look down until you see Accounts and go into your Hotmail there.
Igot an iphone 5s for Christmas and it's my first smartphone. I don't remember how I did it but I can see all of my Hotmail folders but can't retrieve emails that were put in the folder pre-iphone. It lists my folders but most say "empty" except for the most recent emails received, which is not true in reality.
It's annoying but still way more than what my old phone could do so it's hard to miss what you never had.
I'd love to know how to fix this. I'm hoping I'll get time soon to play around, maybe move emails to my inbox on the computer and put them in their folders by iphone and see if that helps.

I'm not the OP, but I have an iphone5 and when I do as you listed, my folders are there but empty. I sync them and they still don't populate. If I really need to see something in my hotmail folder I have to log in they my browser instead.
I know what some of you are talking about when the box at the top left says "inbox" or mailboxes or whatever it is. That is what it did on my iphone 4, that is not happening with this 5s. I am disappointed that I still cannot see my junk folder or any of my other folders.

I also noticed that if i read my mail from my phone and put it in a folder, when I go back in that folder through hotmail on my computer, the mail isnt actually in that folder. So now while I'm on my phone I just keep all mail in my inbox or delete what I dont want.
While we're on the topic of iphone 5s can someone tell me if/how to text a ringtone or text tone to someone?
My old dinosaur phone 4 yrs old could do it but I can't figure it out on this phone.
