New Interval resort in Davenport

Anyone heard of this place? They've got some 4BR units popping up...might be nice for a family get together.

Have stayed here many times through private owners. Resort is nice. Units are great space wise, but very basic. Depending on the unit, there may not even be a phone or clock in the place. Seriously.

We have paid about $80 a night with tax for 4 bedrooms for several trips so it is a very reasonably priced place to stay.

If you do a search for Regal Palms, you will probably come across a lot of posts (a bunch of them mine too) which will give you more info.

The staff is very nice, but clueless. You are pretty much on your own once you check in. Doesn't bother us since we always stay in timeshares. But Regal Palms is particularly lacking in customer service.

It used to be all privately owned villas, but they have now gone to a timeshare format. Not sure how that works with all the owners.

Interesting. I suspect that's bad news for the whole-ownership folks, but an interesting way to try to salvage a development that isn't selling.

the only pet friendly resort that II has in orlando - also works this way - some is timeshares, some owners own and live there, some owners also rent - plus the condo themselves are rented - II helps it. (they are listed as the rental agency)
