It was more painful than my first (back of ankle/foot area) but not unbearable. My artist said I did good because it is so close to the ribcage, which is supposed to be super-painful.

i've thought about getting one there, and i'm not sure i could anything near the achilles tendon. that just weirds me out.

yeah, the back of one of my butterfly wings is right over the achilles - that was the most painful part.

I got it done at a place in Derry, NH. It's called Blue Heron. Very clean and professional. My artist asked me if the A/C was too much, are you cold/hot, you need a break, how's everything feeling, do you wanna change the cd. He is really great. Wonderful artist and makes me feel comfortable.
