So if I add-on 125 points at SSR my total cost per point would be $91.00 per point or $11375.00? Can that be split into 2 seperate contracts...63 points & 62 points?

Yes, I just bought 125 at BLT Wednesday and they split it 62/63 for me. No problem at all and is apparently a commone request. HTH

Good question, I would assume so as you are buying 125 in total, but ask your guide!

If you do more than one add on, can you get more than one set of AP's? :)
If that is the case, I would break down a larger contract into smaller ones and get 3 or 4 years of passes out of it in a heartbeat!

I know that AP vouchers had a deadline on when they had to be redeemed, which I want to say was June 2010 (but don't quote me on that...check with your guide!). I also don't know if splitting up contracts into smaller ones qualifies you for more APs. I bought two 50 point contracts and got 2 APs.

Ok, I am lost. Why would you split the contract into two? To get the AP's?

It's easier to re-sell smaller contracts in the future if it ever becomes necessary.

Okay I just bought an additional 170 points at BLT took the 16 dollar discount I asked about the Visa and was told that you could not stack discounts.

I was also told that 15% was the down payment with these offers.

Also there is no additional discount for increased point purchase's

Hope this helps!

Congratulations Shipmate!!;)

First table mates and now we are neighbors at BLT:flower3:

Wow! So now the downpayment is 15% no matter what offer you choose? My guide is out til Monday and im sure she will be swamped. I may increase our purchase of 100 points to 200 and add a few more BLT and GCV.

HI Christa, We just bought today too... 170 at BLT. If you don't mind, I am trying to figure out how you got the 220 for 19K at AKL?? Please elaborate. I might be willing to switch to AKV. Were you a new member or an add on??

Congratulations!!!

I actually have to make a correction too. It is 240 points!!!! (I got a bit confused because we had so many figures going earlier today, I didn't know if I was coming or going. LOL With the 2 promos that are going on we are putting a down payment of $2688 then DVC is applying a $4,320 (to reflect the discounts) balance 19,872 (I couldn't remember the exact #, now I have the figures in front of me). :thumbsup2

Yes, we are new members with a referral. I had to ask our guide about the referral promo. She just came back from vacation and I guess there are all sorts of promos going on and they guides are having a tough time keeping them all straight.

Wait a minute how do you get a discount of 4320?? I want that?? That is a $20 discount? Something doesn't sound right? Although good for you. Can you breakdown how Disney is giving you that money? Something doesnt add up. Oh wait a minute you bought 240 points, not 220. I think your first post had 220? That makes sense then you are getting a $18 discount! Ok now I get it... You are buying 240 points for 22,560! That is pretty good.

Yes, I made my correction in the last post. Sorry for the confusion. I was told my by Guide:

240 Points
2688.00 (out of pocket down payment)
4320.00 (back from DVC from the two promos)
Totaling $19,872.00

Geez, this high finance is confusing!!! LOL

That is great news. I guess you'll have to give up the free frig swap as you won't be needing that anymore.

LOL about the Fridge Swap. I am currently running it and will continue to run it til the end of the year and then I am done. I don't want to abandon the swappers, I have worked hard and long on keeping that swap running.

So to clear up the confusion, this is what I think you got:

240 points at AKL:

240 * $112 = $26,880
240 * -$10 = -$2400 (basic $10/pt discount on AKL)
240 * -$8 = - $1920 (extra referral discount of $8/pt)

New total cost= $26,880- $2,400 - $1,920 = $22,560
Down payment = $2688 (10% of the original $26,880)
Balance financed = $22,560-$2688 = $19,872

The cost per point was $112-$18 = $94, a great price!

Does anyone know if 2009 MFs are included in the price, or do you still have to pay those separately ?

Assuming they're not included but wanted to ask.

Chris
