New IllumiNations Ending

There is a fantastic, NEW added ending to IllumiNations that just started (11/26?). After the normal end of IllumiNations, the globe relights and there is a new spiel talking about the holiday season, and how we should all hope for peace on earth. Each country is lite (except Norway and Morocco?) and some peace greetings are sent in the native language. There is some new fireworks and a fantastic Grand Finale! Just saw if for the first time last night, it adds about 4 minutes to the original show. I believe this will only run until New Years Eve.

we saw this on Thanksgiving night & it was just wonderful!! it really got us in the Christmas mood!! For anyone that can you should def see it!!

Wonderful, I knew about the special holiday ending but I wasn't sure how long it will play. I am hoping this ending will still be in place the 26-30th. Thanks for the report.

I wish I would be there in the next month to see it, but unfortunately, no WDW trips for me until next fall.

Do you think they will make this an annual addition during the holiday season?

We saw it twice last week and we were blown away by the number of shells and the noise! My hooded sweatshirt was vibrating to the shell explosions!! I think parents with little kids should prepare them for this new ending. It was pretty intense but awesome.

We saw it Mon. night- it was a total surprise for us! It was so beautiful, the music was very inspirational, and the fireworks just took your breath away! I would suggest though to cover the ears of little ones, it was very loud.

I agree completely with the last two posters. It is incredible but LOUD!!! My boys (2 and 4) loved it, but they have never been afraid of fireworks.

Also, take your time walking out so that you can enjoy the light tunnel that glows and flashes in time to the music in front of the big tree right that is located on the center bridge crossing into the WS. It was pouring down rain the night we were there, but we still stopped and LOVED it. To a child (big and small) dancing lights are a bit of magic.

Just a reminder, this is a Holiday new ending and it will only run until 12/31/04
