New hours ruin my PPO breakfast!

so bummed!! New November hours moved opening to 8:00 at MK our entire trip. We had 3 ppo breakfast planned, which is our favorite thing to do! Bummer! Love having BOG and getting several rounds on 7 dwarves and then we can ride again later with a fast pass. So sad!

So frustrating! I did trade a letter fast pass for a 8:30 7 dwarves, but just not the same!

It has been a long time since booking an early breakfast was a safe bet to assuring an advantage in getting to attractions.

It sometimes works. Sometimes not.

Very true. I have learned that when I book PPO breakfasts I have a plan B because of this reason. I have been burned by this before too. Now I usually look at what the hours were during the same time a year before, and that will give you a pretty good indicator if your PPO has a chance of being safe or not. Sorry it didn't work out for previous posters.

I have found planning PPO breakfasts to be too stressful and not worth it due to last minute park hour changes. Finding it easier to plan RD or EMH RD with late morning FP. If we want a park breakfast I'll plan for 10:30 ADR and have a small breakfast in the room before leaving.

Yeah same, oh well! I actually had a 8.10 and 10.30 Crystal Palace booked for the same day, so I half expected it, however I felt too guilty holding both reservations so let the 10.30 go a long while ago, now I’m kind of kicking myself! But I do feel fairly confident that if I keep checking everyday I’ll get something around 10.30 again.

This is part of the reason that we are not doing and PPO reservations this year. Just not worth the hassle. Instead we are going to eat in the room, and have protein bars and shakes while we are waiting for the rope to drop!

Yep. First MK day of our very first trip nearly 7 years ago was messed up because of opening hours changing. Alas we didn't know until we walked up to the gates for our ppo CP breakfast only to find out the parks were opening at the same time.

You can still drop the ADR and just take advantage of the extra touring time.

Drop or move the ADR to later time. There aren’t too many people opening the parks that early. IMO the early open is much more avantageous than a PPO ADR. Especially the days with a 7am EMH. Those are GOLD!

This is our 9th Disney trip and the first time this has ever happened so I guess we should count ourselves lucky. Last summer we rode 7 Dwarves 4 times before opening. Such a fun memory....guess not this trip.

On the bright side there are lots of 12:00 am nights and one EMH for 2:00am. That is our favorite time to be in the Magic Kingdom!!
