I'm done with this folks. My DH, whose cynicism I sometimes hate, but whose judgment I usually trust, says this is a scam. He does NOT like the fact that their bank is out of the country, and that "if it seems too good to be true, blah, blah, blah." We already have a great bounceback rate at the YC in August, this was going to be an extra bonus. If I want an extra, I will go ahead and book a few nights at PC, which my kids love, too. So anyway, I now have an excuse to walk away and get back to my life ...my life of housework, laundry and cooking! What fun!!

I really hope this all turns out well for y'all, and that your hard work is rewarded. I may check back in with ya's just to see what is going on. It's been fun. Take care!

I know I cannot give up but I am sooo stir crazy now! I am slightly ticked off and I hate to be that way - it is not in my nature! I am normally a very happy person! Very cool - I might know her...Canton is not that big!

I started at 11:00pm CST for a few hours and then went to bed. I've been back on since 7:45am once I got to work. I can't give up now. It's all down hill now.

BTW, I have family in Canton, GA. DSIL is a DISer too.

FYI...From the "terms and conditions"
The Campaign may be held one or more times, in the discretion of the Company, during Monday through Friday, inclusive, for fifteen (15) minutes on the date(s) and at the time(s) designated by the Company (each a “Booking Period”).

I think this means that they don't HAVE to hold it every 24 hours.

I think the key point is when LMT starts the 24 hour period. Did they ever say it would be 12:01 AM in any timezone?

I got the free hotel promo through LMT on Friday morning for CSR. I called CRO today and confirmed that a reservation does exist in their system. It was right there.

Phillip(mgr. at LMT) said it can be any time zone, they are not saying 12-6 in a specific time zone. So anything goes.

I was just thinking that... nothing seems like a great deal on the site. Must be why they need to drum up some business.

The room I got was offered at $281 a night. The best rate from the property itself was $398. So at least in that market, it was a very good discount.

And if you are worried about the 1099, also keep a copy of the $1 promo that you actually book under.
