Why wouldn't you have protection with a debit card? I have disputed charges and won on my debit.

I recently had some invaild charges on my debit card and when I disputed them there was nothing that could be done because they were from an "international" company.....I had to cancel my card to get the re-occurring charge to stop.

You got lucky with your disbuted charges than that the bank could recover your money back from the business. It is not like a credit card where you are only responsible for the first $50.00. A debit card is all reliant on the bank recovering your money from the business. If the business refuses to give the money back you are out the money. The bank will not eat the cost for a debit card like they do for a credit card.

If you don't belive me or want more info look it up online or call your bank.
