This is not good news for my family. Not a single one of us likes Nightmare Before Christmas and we're all HUGE SW fans who have been looking forward all year to these fireworks. No, it won't ruin our vacation, but this is not as exciting as the SW stuff for us. I'll be watching for reviews and possibly a Youtube video before we decide if we want to bother to watch it or not. Even the people who had no intention of watching the SW fireworks now have to change up their plans if they suddenly have an interest in this show.![]()
Well nightmare before Christmas is only a segment of the show. I think the show will be great from a holiday entertainment standpoint. Disney is trying to fill the void of no Osborne lights. Keeping things fresh and new will bring people back. Disney also can't appeal to everyone at all time. Not everyone like Star Wars either. IMO I like that they are changing things up. I just hope I have some fireworks show to watch the first week in January, no matter what the theme is.Brought this over from the other thread.
Just announced also a new Santa Meet and Greet to go with this
Yes it should be.I didn't see that aspect - is this in addition to a meet with Santa at Disney Springs or instead of?
It saves them money on pyro.Of course it included the obligatory dessert party.
Boy are the really "all-in" on projection technology lately.

Does anyone know why they would schedule the nightly show for 6:45 when Fantasmic is at 7, now there is no way to see both!

So wrong...and yet so right! Is it wrong of me that once I saw the thread title, my first thought was the '80s Star Wars Christmas special.
Is it going to be at 6:45 all nights? I can not seem to find it on my dates.
That makes sense! Thank you so much! They haven't added it to the schedule after 12/10 yet. If your trip is after that date, that is why you aren't seeing it![]()
