Hi All!
My Dear BF and I found out that he got approved for vacation this coming August, so we are going to Disneyworld for my birthday! I have been doing a lot of research since we decided we are going, and I have used this board for many resources. If you will have me, I would love to be part of the community, so I can share my excitement with other Disney goers. Our plan is to go from Aug 10-16 (with my bday smack in the middle), and staying at Port Orleans: Riverside. We don't have any kids so we figure we would splurge on a moderate. Luckily, we get discounts from CAA (yes we are canadian).

Hi there. I'm Spatulaqueen's dear BF (as she wrote earlier today). I'm new to the board as well, but not new to Disney. I've been to WDW many times in my life, but am thrilled to be able to take my GF for her birthday next year, and for her to experience the joy and fun of WDW for the first time. I am looking forward to experiencing Port Orleans, as I've never actually stayed in any of the WDW resorts before.

Looking forward to visiting this board in the coming months as our Disney trip gets planned.

Welcome to DIS! You sure came to the right place to learn all about WDW! I really suggest checking out people's trip reports and pre trip reports. You can learn A LOT by reading those!
