Hi! I've been sifting through these boards and decided it was time to post. We're in the early stages of planning a trip to WDW for this Nov. We are a family of 5. This will be our kids' first visit to any DIS park. I've been to DL a very long time ago, but not WDW. Dh lived in FL and has visited WDW a long time ago.

I have many questions, which I will post to the appropriate forum. My first question as a newb is where can I find a listing of commonly used acronyms for these boards? I'm not new to acronyms common to internet boards, and I've figured out several of the ones unique to these boards, but a listing would make it much less confusing.

If you have any questions feel free to email if ya'd like. I'm still a little new to this but my sis is a veteran of these boards so I know alot about them. By the way, when in Novemeber are you going to Disney? My family and I are going Nov 27th- Dec 3rd.

I am really bad about using the short stuff....so just ask what someone means...

lots of definition aren't on that list

Pop - is Pop century - not the PC on the list

there are a couple more like that!

Oops, I forgot to answer your question Adrienne. Our trip dates aren't firm yet. We might take the week of Thanksgiving and the 2 weeks after, and visit on about the dates you mentioned. This would work better for our travel schedule, but puts us closer to the holiday season. Or we might take the week before, the week of, and the week after T'giving. This schedule isn't as accommodating, but keeps us in the off peak season, visiting before T'giving.

We will be traveling by car (3 days) and visiting family in the state.

When we get it planned, I'll be sure to check in on the countdown board, and see if we might meet any DISers there.
