Hi, Barb! Welcome to the DIS! It is nice to have you here! I haven't done the MYW dining package yet. To see if you will get the value you want from the meal plan, I would suggest visting www.allearsnet.com and following the dining link. You can view the menus of all of the restaurants on your list and get an idea of what you might order and if MYW is worth the cost for your family.

As far as the restaurants on your list, Tusker House is our families favorite AK restaurant. The atmosphere is great there, and the food is good too. Sci-Fi is fun and campy, but the food can be so-so (we have had good meals here as well as forgetable ones). I have not been to Tony's, but rarely read any favorable reviews about it on this Board. Concourse is good, but if you really want a good steak I would suggest the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the YC.

Have fun on your vacation! BTW, May (especially early May) is such a lovely time to visit WDW!

Everything looks good to me, except Tony's. Not a favorite of ours, and by the reviews I've seen here, not real popular. Plaza restaurant is good, huge sandwiches and a nice setting. Also for counter service in MK Columbia Harbor House is real good food!!! Have a great trip, you'll be hooked!!!

I'd say you made some good choices. I'd recommend Casey's in MK for some really good hotdogs if you're in that area rather than over near Peco Bills.

Hello. I must agree with other poster who mentioned Tony's not being too good, we had our worst ever experience there (food and service), Chef Mickey's not my fav either but I understand everyone wants to try it atleast once. We probably wouldn't go back there.

Instead of Tony's at MK I would suggest the Plaza Restaurant (the sit down one). You can make a PS there and we thought the food was very good, also wonderful milkshakes. That will be a regular stop for us now.

At Epcot you might consider the Garden Grille, I think the ages your kids are they might enjoy that experience, mine did.

Definitely look at the menus on the website mentioned, that will help you alot.
