HI everyone! I have been reading the post here for about a month now and I decided to join so you may see me asking a lot of questions (sorry!). Everyone here seems amazing!!

First a question:
I see all these things about free dining? How would I be able to get that or find out more information on it?

A little about me!
I am a 21 year old college student. I go to UCF (40 minues from WDW). I don't like to go to WDW often because I like it to feel special, not something I can just go to whenever I please. I have a Universal Pass so thats where I go when I want to go to a theme park for the day. Disney is SPECIAL! My parents just bought a 40ft Fleetwood MotorCoach. We have done a couple trips to the fort and LOVE it. Our next trip is for Thanksgiving. I can't wait until I have kids and get to bring them to the fort and Disney!

Ooh another question!
How do I make a signature thing?

We really enjoy the concourse steakhouse, but that's closing right We go there every time and enjoy watching the monorail go past us while we eat.

Free dining is only available to those staying in the cabins, not available for the campsites.

I am new to the boards too but can hopefully answer a couple of your questions.

As ftwildernessguy said, free dining is not available to those staying at the campsites. However, just for your information, free dining is available to those staying on Disney property that visit between 8/27/07 - 9/22/07 (well, to those staying on non-campsite property). My understanding is that this time of year tends to be pretty slow for Disney and they're trying to entice more visitors. I get the impression that offering free dining in August/September may be becoming a yearly thing. Something to keep in mind...

Creating a signature. First, make sure you are logged onto DIS. Look in the top left hand corner of the screen and click on "user CP." You will see that you can personalize your signature, avatar, etc. Have fun!

Third, and I think most importantly... it took me a short while but I have discovered the "Search" feature. It is towards the top of the screen also. Just click it and type in keywords for whatever you are looking for. For instance, type "free dining" and you can look at all of the past posts on the subject. You will notice by doing this that usually someone (and usually LOTS of other people) have asked about what you would like to know about. I think you will find it to be a wealth of information. I certainly have.

Look like we'll just be passing each other on our Disney trips. We'll be leaving just before the week of Thanksgiving.

And Ashley, I completely agree... (especially the "camping gang")

WElcome Ashley!! From what I understand, free dining is only available in the cabins. I don't know how to make a siggie! AND I went to UCF about 12 years ago!! Now I am bringing my kids to Disney every chance we can!! We will be there... Memorial Day, Labor day, Oct for DD's 7th bday, and Thanksgiving week this year
