HI!

I'm new here as we're taking our first family trip in June/July!

Since we're driving, we'll have our van, so transporting our stroller is not a problem....however, here are my questions.

There are no restrictions on strollers in the parks, right? When people have been questioning strollers, their problems are just getting them on the busses, etc....that's what I'm thinking.

Also, does anyone know what the fee is for parking per day? If you return to the same park later in the day, do you have to pay to park again?

THANKS!!!!!

There's no real restriction on strollers - most of the questions about them are related to folding them to put on buses. Some are about how easily they fit through shop doors. You can't bring strollers inside attractions, but there is ample stroller parking outside attractions. Cast Members often move strollers from one area to another to consolidate them and make room, so don't panic if your stroller isn't exactly where you left it. I recommend putting something identifiable on it so you can easily spot it.

Parking is $14 per day if you aren't staying at a Disney resort. Save your receipt and you can park at any park lot for the rest of the day at no additional charge.

Have a great trip!

There actually is a restriction on size. It can be looked up but based on some of the monstrosities I've seen there it has to be very generous. Personally I always took as small as possible and quit taking the stroller as soon as possible!

The only limit on a stroller is that it can't be larger than 36 x 52 inches. And you can't tow anything behind it.

If you need to use a tram to get from where your car's parked to the park entrance (the earlier you arrive, the less likely this will be), you will need to fold the stroller completely to get it on the tram.

So if we're staying at All Star sports and we drive to the parks rather than take the bus in each day then we don't have to pay for parking? THat'd be nice!!!

Phew....ours is just your typical, everyday stroller (Graco, I think). It folds nicely but I think we should take it rather than the umbrella stroller to lug along all of our stuff. It's sad I don't even know the brand anymore, but since it's 6 years old and we're on our 2nd child with it, I guess it doesn't matter anymore :-)

THanks for your help!

Nope you don't have to pay for parking anywhere on site:banana:
You will get a paper window placard to put on the dash when you check in and the CM at the gate at each park will wave you through as soon as they see it.

I would definitely take the bigger stroller. It is really nice to have the storage space to carry diaper bag, water bottles, etc. Umbrella strollers always seemed a lot harder to push and steer than a full size stroller. The full size stroller is a little more work to get folded and on and off trams, buses, etc. but I think it's well worth it.

That is correct.
Personally, with small kids and a stroller(or two), we found it more convenient to drive to all the parks except MK. At MK, we preferred taking the buses because they drop you off right at the entrance, while driving, you still have to take a monorail or boat after you park your car.

That is good advice! I'd never have realized that about MK! I will keep that in mind. Thanks! :thumbsup2
