Hello all,
While not new to the DisBoards I am new to the Photography board. I was killing some time recently reading some of the threads. The pictures are fantastic, and it looks as if the advice is even better. I have a point and shoot but would like to get a dSLR soon, but with a wedding to pay for I don't know, hopefully before the honeymoon.
Anyway I just have a few questions.
I recently downloaded the PSP X trial version and I'm fooling around with it with some of my own photos. I really like the selective colorization, can you tell I'm amused easily. I really like some of the photos on the board and would like to see what I can do in PSP. It would be for my own personal gratification. Is it acceptable to download pictures from this board just to tinker with them? What is the proper etiquette to do so?
Also I was wondering for those who are professional photographers, aren't you worried about people lifting your work and passing it off as their own? Is there anyway for you to track that type of behavior? Just curious, if it is an industry secret I'll understand.
I really enjoy viewing everyones photos and look forward to contributing some of my own. Thanks.
Sean
