Do y'all do trip reports or anything? Or is it pretty much strictly College Program, Purple folders type stuff?

Haha a few times people try to open threads about something other than the CP, but it rarely seems to work out.

I've tried to do TRs (but put them in the TR forum, not here) but I always end up not having enough pictures/details to continue them. One day I will finish one!

We pretty much talk CP. Sometimes sports will crop up... but it's pretty much all about the program and stuff.

I think if we had any other threads, we'd never get anything at all done... haha. It's bad enough as it is! But I'm sure there's something we could all talk about...

And I do Trip Reports, but I do it in the TR section.... although I do have a link in my signature. *cough cough*

Wow. I thought about doing the CP program...but changed my mind. I just couldn't see myself working there. I think because I hate working period! I want the money, without the labor! lol


And I will read/subscribe to yours! No one is really following mine. I just posted it yesterday. I thought maybe no one wanted to read a college, student's budget trip!

Yeah as the others said- we've tried to talk about things other than the CP, but the CP seems to be all people want to talk about. There have been a couple "what's your major" threads, but that's about it.

Maybe we can start a revolution here lol let's get college students to post trip reports and other disney related or college related stuff- otherwise they're going to have to rename this board to "The College Program Board." haha

If you wanna talk about Disney trips I'm all for that. Last trip was to Disneyland in October.

I have applied to the College Program for the next fall, but I like to talk about other disney stuff too. It's good to hear about poor college students budget trips to Disney.

I think a lot of people mainly sign up for the Dis just to ask questions about the cp. Then after they're accepted and left or rejected, they somehow disappear. Few come in this board actual college stuff. So it never gets a break from cp world and get a chance for some to discuss stuff like their trip planning methods for college students on a budget.
I'm always planning trips in my head. Then I come back to reality and remember that I'm flat broke I'd love to go back to either Disneyland or WDW by the end of next year.
By the way Middlesex County College student here. What year are all of you in? I just started college on the 25th of Jan. The reading material for my English class is such a bore. I don't know how much longer I'll survive having to read this book. But I'm optimistic, I'll somehow get through this semester.
Ok enough of my 3am rambling. So how are you guys?

This is true, I don't see some of the same people around this board I used to see. I guess after their CP experience, they left?

I'm a second semester senior, so I can't qualify for the College Board much longer!

When i go onto the college board it is mainly to talk about the cp and I go onto the other boards to talk about everything else! It would be nice to get to see what other college age kids think about Disney and how they plan trips to Disney. I am constantly planning trips to Disney it is my favorite hobby!

And I know what you mean about the College Program. I'd like to do it, sure, but I can't because of scheduling. Heck, I'm already going to graduate late just because I've changed my major so many times.
