Evening all, I have been lurking a bit on the boards and decided to seek some guidance from all the folks out in the blogosphere. So here are the details and plans so far; My partner's mother has graciously booked us a room at Saratoga Springs using her DVC membership as well as plane tickets. The rest of the planning is left to me and here's where I seek some advice. We will be flying in May 19 and leave the 22nd, this trip is for his 30th Birthday but also happens to be around our 2nd Anniversary. So I am looking for any suggestions, tips, or general knowledge sharing on what you'd do. I am planning on 1 day per park, most likely starting with Hollywood Studios due to the Extra Magic Hours the day we arrive. This is my first time planning a Disney Vaycay as the last time I visited I was 15 with my family for my Mom's 40th. I look forward to any advice anyone has to offer.

What a great trip thatll be! First Id start by saying that you should definitely look into making your dining reservations now, they go quickly. EMH can make a park very busy, but worth it if you plan right. with only 3 days there (4 including your leaving day) you wouldnt be able to do one park per day, unless you went that last day that you leave. Id plan ahead and check the major attractions and shows that you think he would like and plan to visit those first,as you probably cant do everything you want in just one day in each park!

Hope this helps, we will be there from may 10-17 and have park hoppers each day, you may want to look into those to maximize your time there!

Have a great trip!!!

I already have ADR for Mama Melroses, 'Ohana (Dinner) and Chef d' France. Our flight is at 6:30 pm our last day so I was planning on AK the last day as there isn't as much there that is on my List of MUSTS. I was planning DHS (Mon), MK (Tues), Epcot (Wed). Planning on catching each firework show and both parades in MK. With the new FP+ I am hoping that I can get the big two in DHS that I wouldn't do when I was younger ( Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster) planned out. I am very amendable to changing reservations for dinner if people suggest other locations. My CM friends from college say that 'Ohana is a must. Hopefully we can get pictures with a friend who's "friend's with" Mickey.

sounds like you have a great plan already, should be low crowds that week and you should be able to do everything even without the FP+'s..

Enjoy!

Thanks, i am really looking forward to the trip, now just not to spoil the surprise.
