We have always enjoyed the MNSSHP nights. It's like a different park at night, especially with the castle eerily lit, Main Street decorated and the characters dressed in costumes. Plus, there's nothing like the rides at night! The fireworks are incredible (different from Wishes) and the parade is cute (I would rather skip that and ride the ride, as they aren't busy during parade times.) It is a ticketed event, so it's never crowded - of course, October is usually not that crowded anyway! The 21st should be fine, but as it gets closer to Halloween, it will fill up with "locals." (The 31st was horrible last year!)

As far as something special, have you considered the Wishes Dessert Party. It requires separate admission, too, but I hear it is worth it - plus, seeing the Wishes Fireworks show from a unique point of view.

Hope that helps - and I hope you love it here! You will get lots of helpful advice (probably more so from mine) and the people are so nice!

Welcome to the boards! I will also be going to WDW for my birthday! :cheer2:

1. This will be my first time attending MNSSHP as well, but I hear wonderful things about it. I heard it's much more fun than MVMCP. You also get to see some pretty rare characters and costumes (someone reported seeing Tarzan!). Some will say it's too much money, but you gotta try it at least once! I didn't really like MVMCP, but I'm still glad I had the chance to say I attended! :) http://land.allears.net/reviewpost/showproduct.php?product=222&cat=65

2. From the WDW official website: THINGS TO DO->Celebrate Your Special Occasion. You should see a link for birthdays. Seems cliché, but they do offer a wide variety of ideas and products!

Hope I helped! :flower3:

Welcome - I've never been for Halloween so I don't have any suggestions -but I know a lot of people on here can help.

Welcome to the boards. I've never been to the Halloween event so I can't comment on that one but you could consider ordering a special cake at dinner or maybe having flowers sent to your room. What about having a wake up call from her favourite Disney character?! :)
