Hello and welcome... :yay:

We ordered a cake at cafe mickey about 2 weeks ago and it really easy... the meal was lovely and the character experience was second to none! :thumbsup2 We just walked in and ask to book a table for the following night and said that we were celebrating my other halfs 30th birthday. Easy as that... on the night they play a happpy birthday song and all the characters come and sing and dance with you... Roy was a little embarassed as you can see by clicking below...

Click here to see the vid!!!!

cake was 22 euro - didnt get any choice, but it was a sponge cake with choc filling and had a disney icing picture and the 15th anniversery logo... had candles on it... they also bring you plates to have it for dessert and they will give you the box to take it home in for later if you dont want to eat it in the restaurant!

Birthday party with Disney Characters at the Plaza Gardens restaurant, includes a birthday cake, selection of desserts and sweets plus a surprise present - not available on Mon and Tue and on some dates (price per person, adult and child) 18,00 euros

Chocolate birthday cake (serves 6 - 8 people) 22,00 euros available at all table service restaurants. You don't get a choice of size or design.
There are Character Meals available in other restaurants where you can have if you would prefer a "proper" meal.

You can order in advance, make a reservation and add the cake to your booking.

Have a look here for a list of special meals.

and the rest of the site for reviews etc. Hope that helps. Jill :)

We had a Birthday Tea Party at the Plaza Gardens last week for 19euros per person which included the buffet, a present for DD and a full birthday cake - thought this was really good as we had read that you only had a slice of cake. If you want to take the cake away with you just ask a CM for a box - we did as we stuffed ourselves silly on all the delicous cakes and pastries!!!

Thanks for all the replies and threads, i will have a read.
There birthday is on a monday so might have to choose somewhere other than the plaza

Always worth a phone call to double check if you really want a Monday - they chnage things so often at DLRP, it's sometimes hard to keep up with what's on offer/when. :)
