Well Lion, it is a very nice room. However, I wouldn't say its exactly creative; to me it looks kind of cluttered and it doesn't have much that sets it apart from a regular room (apposed to one that wins best guest room).

I'm not trying to put you down, just giving a little bit of constructive criticism. I think you need to make a plan first; draw a picture or take a screen shot of the empty room and print it off and try and draw in Halloween furniture, etc.

If you think of a unique pattern or design it could help you with your room construction; furniture is special in that way because it is quite versatile. Instead of just using a chair for a chair, you can use it in a completely different way if you just use your imagination.

I'll try and show you what I mean by posting a picture of my friend's room next time I'm in there and I can take a screen shot. He is very good at room design and his design might inspire you or help you better understand what I mean when I say you can use furniture in different ways.

Me, I'm not very good at room design; I tend to always put furniture on the perimeter of the room and not be adventurous by putting something right in the middle. When I do experiment, it takes me a long time to figure out what to do with the furniture I have to work with. Alice in Wonderland says: I give myself such very good advice, but I very seldom follow it. That line certainly applies to me when we're talking about room design.

No, I was just wondering what other people thought of it. My last one wasn't a big success, it was very boring .

What is the purpose of your room? Just setting up all your halloween furniture? Having a place for your friends to hang out? I can see you have some furniture groupings but they are quite spaced out.

I do not think it boring, and would consider it an above-average room. I only asked because many players who ask for opinions about their rooms often do so to gauge whether we think it's an award-winning room. Usually, it is not, but as here, it is a pretty good room. Just my opinion, though, and it is worth little, as I have exactly zero best room awards under my belt.
