I woke up at 4 and decided to check for the purse. At first I only saw the tote and of course I quickly bought it. A few minutes later all 4 bags popped up and I saw the letter carrier which is what I really wanted so after a little debate I ordered it too. I'm hoping the demand is like last time and I can sell one of them. I went to eBay and they're on the page. Maybe it's people who got them when they were released at the parks last week but the letter carrier is going for $500.

So very true. The Monday in May was a totally random day. I just happened to be awake due to my son's college graduation day. Don't think it was an anticipated release day, but Monday has been the day of the week for release in the past.

I got a purse in May. And several of us did anticipate a release that day. The bag was reported on sale @ WDW on May 15. And did indeed pop up on the website the very next Mon, May 19th when many of us here were able to purchase. So really not random.

I have been following the trends with bag since last Sept and did get it in May, exactly when I thought I would. And so when I suggested to someone here last week that they look for the bag this morning, it was a highly educated suggestion not just a rumor or hope.


I'm happy for everyone who was able to get their purses today! Congrats!!

I just checked and the totes are gone too. You must have got the last one. This is one of the few times insomnia has worked in my favor!

I rolled over at 3:30 and decided to try my luck. I got 2 wristlets and 2 totes by accident. When I went in I only saw totes and wristlets, I selected the two wristlets and it said they were gone so I selected one tote and hurriedly checked out and the app crashed as I selected the place order button. So I went back and got the single tote again and got a confirmation. I went back in and saw that the wristlets now let me add them to my cart so I got two. When I check my email for confirmations just to make sure, I had 3 confirmations. So I guess I sell the second tote! I have had a lot of mixed luck with the app, I didn't even see the cross body bags until I went back after I had placed my orders. So in the future on hot items, I may use the website.

Very grateful for the folks on these boards and all of the information posted! I saw and debated on getting the HM Smith bag last Fall, lost my opportunity and have been kicking myself ever since. This go round, I woke up early and bought the LC and the wristlet when the Sku numbers were posted here before 3:30 am. Looking forward to opening these on Christmas morning!

Hate to tell you but the latter carrier is only listed for $500. No one is buying at that price. The demand isn't as big as last time! In fact a lot of the original listings from last week ended UNSOLD. People learned that they can get the bags if they only wait!!! Maybe people looking to make some money by buying out these limited items will learn soon too!

Thank you to all who posted info about when they update inventory and the sku numbers. I felt a little obsessed when I set my alarm for 230 on the chance they'd be available. I would have missed out if not for the SKU numbers because I was looking in dooneys and haunted mansion stuff, not specifically for haunted mansion Dooney. Last year around Christmas I got in on the Smith one but somehow my order never went through. It was highly disappointing.
I ended up with the letter carrier...so happy. I almost bought one off eBay during the week but the auction ended up higher than I was willing to pay.

I was able to purchase the letter carrier thanks to the wonderful folks here who shared how to find them on the site. I'd only checked the D&B page and was going back to bed without when I checked this thread's notification email and found them. Thanks, everyone!

Well...I was one of the folks that woke up at 2am then stayed awake until 3:15am and thought nothing was going to happen and went to bed Then I woke up this morning and saw all posts to this thread and knew something had to have come up on the site...f*%! Although I was a tiny bit thrilled to see that the Smith bag was not re-released and I had missed it. That was the one I was looking for. Now I'm wondering if they will re-release it and when.

Sorry, meant to say some of the Totes we're going for upwards of $500 and I did see one of the bids close to that so...
All styles are sold out now and if Disney does anything like they did last time with the Smith bag I doubt you see huge quantities. It's called supply and demand. The fact that all of the styles were sold out when I checked at 5 this morning indicates that yeah, it's gonna be kinda popular...

That's the same with me! I'm thrilled I got the tote I was looking for, but now I'm not sure if I'm disappointed I didn't also get the cross body! Wish I lived closer to wdw!

A suggestion for those who want these new bags: book mark the item pages today. Apparently they don't show up on the DS website when they are sold out, so they will probably disappear when the website updates again. It is the actual item page that reloads at 2 AM & that's how I got mine at 2:30 AM EST-- by going directly thru the item page. Then when the DS site reloads at 3 AM, it will show up by searching there. Of course, before today, there was no item page available to book mark for these new styles. But the next time they become available, you should be able to order shortly after 2 AM by going directly to the item page, without having to wait for the store website to update at 3 AM. Giving you a little advantage!

Yes these bags are and will be popular. I meant that people are getting smarter and not paying outrages ebay prices. There are already a few new listings from last night. But if people only naught the bag they want- others would be able to get them too! Can't stand the people who buy them out and then sell them for a profit on eBay.

LOL Me too by the way- need a second mortgage soon. My friend got me into D&B - love and hate her at same time. Now I just need the HM wallet and I'm done!
