So is there a consensus on when things are available online? When does disney online update the site at night.

There is no guarantee they will be online and I doubt CMs at WDW have any information about online stock of items so anything they say should be taken with a grain of salt.

That said, Disney updates their site with new items at midnight PST (3am EST).

There are some people complaining about some flaking on the corners of the cross-body bag. I haven't used mine yet, so I can't confirm personally.

And this was the one I wanted from the Epcot line of bags. So glad I haven't bought it on Ebay yet. Only option now as they are gone.

Many of us who got the Smith bag online in the past have found them at about 2:30 AM scared1 on a Monday. And usually the Monday after they had been available in the parks. So there is a possibility they will be online this coming Monday at 2 -3 AM. (Apparently new merchandise is loaded on Monday & the website updates at 2 AM.) They have sold out by 6 AM or so. So if you're planning on trying online, early is better! Good luck!

Yes. I got mine on May 19th @ 2:40 AM EST along with several others here. Someone reported trying at 4:30 & they were sold out. However, that was for just the Smith bag. Don't know what will happen as far as a sellout for the 3 new styles. Would be great if they have a larger inventory.

I have a picture off us all setting our alarms for Monday at 2:00a.m. est to try and get our bag...maybe even calling Internet provider to upgrade to the warp speed connection so we don't miss out ?!

I was at the release on Monday, fourth in line!!! Just got back from my WDW trip on Wednesday. Boy was it a MADHOUSE trying to make it to the store; one woman kept stepping on the back of my feet trying to get past me, but I still made it into the store in the first wave. I'm glad I did, as they were almost sold out of the small crossbody when I returned a couple of hours later and they didn't expect to make it through the day with what they had - and they didn't.

I got a small crossbody and a wristlet; no flaking yet but I haven't carried them either (bought some other Dooneys and they're being used now instead). I can't imagine the wristlet will flake because it has the piping in place around the edges, but I can see why the small crossbody would, and if mine does you can bet I'll be sending it in for repair.

The purses I have are the coated pebbly cotton with leather trim and strap.

It was all very well organized. I was impressed with how they were handling the crowds; they were only letting in a couple of people at a time and were obviously well-prepared for the crowds of people who would be coming through!

The bags are very nice looking in person; so glad I made it to the front of the crowd and snagged a couple for myself!

Congrats on the new bags!!!. The cross body style might have been better for me, but I didn't want to gamble so bought the Smith style when I could. Maybe I should join the Mon morning watch team.

Ha thanks! It certainly felt like a run Disney event, especially with the people around me also in the running for Anna and Elsa and Seven Dwarfs!!!

The new merchandise is updated at 3am EST (12am PST). I know because of many nights stalking haunted mansion and frozen. Good luck to all- maybe this Monday or the following. When I last checked with CMs they said to give it a couple weeks after the parks.
