I am very sorry if I confused anyone...I wrote the post very quick while on lunch at work. I called Disneyland merchandise services (just googled the number) and the IASW Dooney was $285 plus shipping. The CM I spoke with was awesome, she gave me a break on the shipping. I live in Indiana and the shipping should have been $80 but she cut it to $40 and also reminded me about the discount for using my Disney debit card. She said the shipping is calculated on $ amount of purchase NOT ship weight but she gave me a deal. I figured its still WAY cheaper than e bay and it should arrive in 2 weeks.

I was lucky enough to snag a HM bag (it's beautiful and I hope others can get one too!) but have a question: when these were first announced, it was said that they were NOT limited edition... but, it seems like they are given their lack of availability - does anyone know what the deal is?

When we were at MK last weekend, Uptown Jewelers said they have only ever received 3 shipments and the most they ever got in one shipment was 8 bags... crazy!

just jumping in here to comment on the red lining......
I did not purchase the HM one, but did purchase the sketch one with the red lining. I got it about a year and half ago. I literally used it twice, then it was in my closet for about 3-4 months. When I went to pull it out to use again.... the red had actually bled onto the white on the OUTSIDE of the bag.
So if it's bleeding on people's hand it WILL bleed on the bag!

Believe me... I was UPSET! But I called Guest Relations at DisneyStore.com and they couldn't replace the same one as there were no more available. So they had me send it back (they emailed me a label, so no charge to send it). Once they received it they refunded me the full amount to my credit card.

So.... they DO stand by this product...... but I would be really weary of getting any of their bags with a red lining!

thank you cindyfan for the info. one more question, is the red portion of the hm bag a different sort of fabric than the typical dooney disney red lining? i think the post i had read earlier indicated it was a suede or microfiber?? thanks in advance for any additional info on this.

I've had my purse since it was released on September 13 and I have been using it every day since, the red lining has not bled on anything. As for the material, the top quarter of the purse is a red suede. If you look at a picture of the purse you see where the top folds down? That part is the suede. The rest is cotton.

Maybe if they had said Limited Edition, I wouldn't have kept putting off the 2 am nights because of silly things like "class"...

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that isn't having any issues with the red. I got mine in late November or early December and have been carrying it ever since. I love it!
