New hard plastic membership cards arrived today!

Just thought I would let those who bought at BCV the first month know that their membership cards would be arriving soon, mine came in the mail today! Yeaaaa!!!!!!

Thanks for your heads up. We just received our letter Saturday that our deed was registered on 5/31/02. So we should be getting membership cards soon. WOW. I wonder if we will also get that Vacation Magic I have been hearing about?????

We just got our letter today that our deed was recorded on May 31st and the bill for our points. Although I'm envious that you have 800 points to plan vacations with, I'm glad I'm only paying dues on 260. LOL.

Looking forward to getting those cards here in Missouri!

Yes, Donna, it was a really good feeling. I opened the mail and told my 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter that we got our official DVC membership cards, they both grabbed a card and ran around the house excited. They love our DVC too, since they know they will be returning to WDW twice a year and staying in "the big rooms". (That is what they refer to them now since we took the tour and saw the models). This just makes me more anxious for our first trip home in Sept.

P.S. I am not looking forward to paying those dues either.

We just got ours last night. Here I was all worried from previous posts that it would take a couple of months after we closed on our resale and they just show up. We got our new Members Guide Book too. It was a very exciting night around our house. The kids all sat around me while I was thumbing through the pages of the guide book.

It just feels like it's really official now that we have our cards. The coolest thing on the card was the members since date in the bottom right hand corner. It read 1/96 and the cool thing about that is that's when we took our first DVC tour and decided to buy in. We changed our minds at that time, but now we're officially members and we can't wait to go "Home" for the first time...

I hope ours will be in the mail when I get home from work. We bought in with the $5 off per point incentive. We will be going to OKW instead of "home" to BCV July 7-12. We will definitely schedule some time to see our new home while we are there. Hope we have the new membership cards by then.

Did you get a number to use in the interim prior to recieving your card? If so does someone have a phone number to call the DVC.

Yes, I received a paper card. But, you can call 1-800-800-9800 or 407-566-3800 to get your membership number if you don't already have it. My paper card has an August 26, 2002 expiration date on it, so I am sure I will get a permanent card before then.

Our first set of cards that were issued never made it here. They are sending some more but we have to wait another 4-6 weeks. I can't wait to get them in the mail.

We got cards on Saturday for our last add on at BWV, then today (Tuesday) we got our cards from our BVC Add on/ OKW orignal purchase. (We bought OKW in Feb!!!! Just now getting hte cards)

So I have two sets of pretty blue cards to stare at!!!
