New Hallmark Small World Ornament

Hi all,

We found the Small World ornament at a local Hallmark shop this weekend. It is about 4 inches high, with 8 "characters" on it. It is much like a music box: turn the key on the bottom, and the ornament rotates, like a carousel, while playing "It's A Small World". VERY cute!! I think it was $32. We generally buy ornaments after Christmas, but were afraid these would all be gone. We bought the only one our store had. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!

We have an all Disney tree (as of last year), and this will be a terrific addition!

I did not see that one when I was in the Hallmark store last week. What I did find was a Mickey/Minnie small cookie jar and a set of Mickey and MInnie ornaments (2).
Now I will have to go back and look some more!

Hmmm, we'll keep looking, too~I didn't see a cookie jar! There were several nice Disney ones, but most of them, I think I can wait til after Christmas on. I was just worried that there would be no more SW ornaments then! We were especially happy that it was out this year, since the attraction itself is closed until next spring...

I found it on Hallmark.com. They even have a video clip that you can download to get a look at it from all angles. Very cute! The cost is $32.00 plus $4.95 for shipping if you go thru the website but there's no sales tax.

We got ours at the preview sale in June or July and got double Hallmark points and the Mickey Minnie jar for $4.95. Not a big discount, but a very cool ornament that we were going to buy anyway.

Are ornaments 1/2 price after Christmas on the website, as well? Never thought to check the Hallmark website before, duh!!

Yep! It's cute! My DH and the kids gave it to me for my birthday last month. Our Hallmark store was nice and let my DH buy the goodie jar for $4.95 even though he only bought 1 Disney ornament.
They also got the Yertle the Turtle one for me. It's my fave story to read to the kids!

Great thread! There is also Disney Fantasia the sorcerer which mickeys big blue hat lights up ....so cool 21.95. Avabile in October Tinker Bell windup movement Tink twirls on mirror 16.95. I think these will go quickly.
