Google Earth has added some high resolution pictures of Paris which includes Disneyland Paris. Also included are pictures showing Camp Davy Crockett, which previously were not available in any sort of detail. I even found the cabin we stayed in last year! They do not seem to be available on the standard maps.google website, only through Google Earth so far. To find it, try typing in Disneyland Paris in the 'fly to' textbox. This took me to a place just south of DLP, but you should be able to see the circle road running around the parks.

Looks good. I found the teepees at 48.50'04.07 N 2.48'56.42 E

Just had a quick look this morning and maps.google.co.uk has now been updated with the new photos. The detail is quite stunning. I wonder when they were taken of DLP, because one can see the ground clearances for (I assume) tower of terror and toon studios, but no actual construction is visible.

Well I'd have thought that the pictures date to before May 2005 - I'm coming to this conclusion because you can see:

a) two steampaddlers on the water in Frontierland
b) the towers are still in place in the village.
c) No Ballon on the lake.

I think they are fairly old - maybe just enhanced quality of the originals? If you look at the partner sites it still looks like a building site - which is how it was before the better quality - the Holiday Inn didn't open until June 2003, so we could be looking at a period 2002 (when the Studio's open) - early 2003.

Given the size of the Disneyland Resort area (both developed and undeveloped land) the photos could come from a number of different times. I know that the Google Earth data for my home town has a join right down the middle - one set of photos taken about 1999, the other somewhere around 2002-2003.

This image was taken in Summer 2002.

If you look behind It's small world you can see the parade being prepared to exit onto the park, at the begining is the 10th birthday float which was used between April and September 2002.

And in the Studios the film reel parade route has been painted which was added in June 2002.

So it is after June and before October.
