New glow medallions that interact with Pal Mickey?

I read on a web site that the new Pal Mickey interacts with new glow medallions, can anyone tell me what this is? And is Pal Mickey something I should get in Walt Disney World, is it really worth getting?

The old version and we have taken him on six trips with us to WDW.We love ours he tells corny jokes and gives you updates on ride waits and parades that are about ready to start.Plus you can play trivia games with him.So I would say the one one would be just as good and most likely better.So I would get one if I didn't already have one I became attached to and paid $60 bucks for.Pal Mickey really us update his data base on each visit.As you enter each park just point his shiny nose forward and he will update.

What are these and how do they interact?

We have an "original" Pal Mickey, but plan to get the new one when we go in May.

I don't know thats why I'm asking but this web site said that these new glow medallions, I'm guessing they are like glow sticks you wear on your neck at night in tommrowland or during the fire works, interact with the new Pal Mickey.



Can any tell me what these glow medallions are, where you do get them, how much they are, what do they do, what you do with them,and any more information on this subject, any thing you know?
