It's been a long time since I've used internet forums (about three years) and I think this should be the place where I start on this one! My name is Rachel, I am StarryNight on the Lines touring plans app, and I've been a long time lurker of the DisBoards, but I think it's time that I started interacting
I've got six trips to the World under my belt, thanks mostly to my dad's job where he goes down there yearly for conferences, and it is truly my favorite place. I love Disney because of its appeal to all ages and the timeless stories it tells, as well as the attention to detail and history.
My Disney obsession first really took off right after my trip when I was 11 years old when I started getting interested in the trivia and fun facts hidden in the Disney parks. I did a google search for "disney world trivia and fun facts: and found all sorts of things that heightened my interest even further in this vacation resort that outshone the rest. From there, I discovered the WDW Radio podcast, as well as WDW Today and touringplans.com. The next two years of my life were spent agonizing over when I would next get to visit what I realized was my true home again. Ever since then, I've been a Disney addict and I can't help but want to plan friends' and family members' vacations and always reading for new interesting facts and planning tips for Disney.
One of the ways that I've found helps alleviate my post-disney-depression is reading other people's trip reports on here, and I decided that I should go ahead and make an account so I could weigh in my thoughts and write my own trip report! I hope being on here will help me have a constantly refreshing outlet for my disney obsession.
