New general public discount

I used a 40% room only pin when I booked last year for my trip a couple of weeks ago and added on the tix & ddp - no problem.

You can add on and make it a package. I have done it before w/discounts and was told (without asking) that I could do it.

I just called and booked 4/17 - 4/24 1BR at BWV...$2027!!!! Very excited. My first choice is always boardwalk, but my oldest wants to stay at beachclub this time. So I checked it out, nothing, yet. I will check back next week when everyones deposits will be due and grab one up if it opens, if not, we're at boardwalk. Great rate...very excited! And this trip I will not be making it a package and taking advantage of the kitchen for breakfast (some am's) and some lunches. We are taking a low key trip and only going to parks 3 days, no AK for us this trip. I want to spend more time at the resort this trip!

I've already booked some dining!! Couldn't get 1, but I will keep trying.

I thought I had it all figured out! Now they add another special! I had to run the number to see what was better the $300 gift card or the 30% off 5 or more nights at the All Star Movies. The 30% off saved me $80 more dollars. I spent hours trying to get a pin like this and they just give it to us now!! Unbelieveable!!!

I am wondering if anyone knows the specific codes for this AP discount for 4 or more nights with quick service dining? The QIJ code listed is for 1-3 nights and MS told me the code for the QS dining added is QIK. But I didn't know the code for 4 or more nights and therefore they would not give me the discount!

I am staying 4 nights with QS dining. My APs have expired and I won't be renewing them until I arrive in March, so I can't check the AP site myself for any codes.

I originally booked a 9 night/10 day stay at the CBR without any pin or special offer. When the gift card promo came out, I called and the castmember modified my reservation. This morning, I logged on the Disboards and found out about the room only special offer.

So, I decided to go online and run some numbers. With the next promo, we will be saving a total of $681.13 which is more than the $500.00 gift card I would have received using the gift card promo.

I called Disney Travel and modified my existing reservation this morning with no problem at all. For those of you needing the general public code for the package, it is QOX.

I priced both this deal and the GC deal and the GC deal was about $30 more but you get the gift card. I think you should break it down and see what is the best deal for you. Happy New Year!

Sounds like the code QOX is the code used for the General Public that includes a booking with Dining Plan and tickets. Anyone can call and request this discount as long as their dates correspond and are not in the blackout period, and there are discount rooms available. There are a limited number of these rooms or packages available with the discount.

Does anyone know the code for Annual Passholders (no tickets needed) with QS dining plan and 4 or more nights on the reservation?

Try this: Book the 5 night minimum required to get the 500 GC. Stay in the same hotel, but book 4 nights under a separate reservation with the discount. I ran the numbers as well and for POR it would be 119 per night for the 4 nights, which is quite a bit less than the rack rate. Best of both worlds in my opinion. It would just be a split stay at the same resort and I've often heard people had the same room without needing to switch. What do you think?

Just want to mention that disney will not guarantee that you stay in the same room on a split. SO if packing up your stuff, checking out, waiting in line and checking back in and unpacking is not your thing, you may not want to risk it. My sil had to do just that. They moved their room......
We got lucky and they told me to be on line front desk to check out then back in when they opened.....6am, I got there earlier, (met some nice folks doing the same thing) and they were having computer glitches, we had to wait till 7 BUT they apologized and we got to keep our room, so that worked out for us.....
better to at least make an informed decision......I think during busier times it may be more difficult

Here is numbers for my upcoming trip, last week of April, 6 nights, 6 day PH:

With discount percent for Pop: $1,127.

With Gift Card: $1,350 then $300 gift card to use, total $1,050.

So....since I would spend $300 already in meals/souvies, for me, the Giftcard is the better deal, I mean $75 is a TS meal for us.

Yes, they will. I originally booked a trip for May 1st-9th at rack rate. When I was at WDW Dec 12th-20th I used the Bounceback offer and called and had it modified to get 35% off. I called two days ago to switch resorts and paid it off. Yesterday, when this new deal came out, I called back and had them change it again. I saved an additional $165.00 and didn't have to buy a one day park ticket I didn't need (like I did with the bounce back deal). I am now getting money credited back to my credit card.

I am so excited!! I had a standard room(2 adults & 3 kiddos) booked at BC with the gift card promo for $5067.89(no dining plan). Subtracting the gift card from my total would be $4,317.89.

I just called and used the GP code and my new total is $3,663.

So the new promo actually saves me an additional $654--
