New Galactic Grill Menu

I looked on the app a day or two ago and noticed the menu for Galactic Grill has changed. Specifically, they selections for the Star Wars meals. It looks like the First Order chorizo burger has been replaced by a bacon cheeseburger, and the Jedi Order chicken sandwich is now a BBQ sandwich instead of wasabi and fried green beans.

I'm a little bummed, I was looking forward to trying one of the unique offerings. But a "safer" sandwich will probably sell better. Has anyone tried the new menu?

My son was so disappointed, that is all he talked about before we left for Disneyland. On our last day June 23, we went to the glactic grill, only to find the menu changed. The CM said, it changed earlier in the week. He did get the burger the first order, and enjoyed it. We did the BBQ chicken sandwich, and it was delicious! The chicken breast was huge. The galatic grill. is not my favorite placed, to eat. However, the food was actually good.

I'm glad they changed it. I tried the chicken sandwich with wasabi and green beans and it was a little odd. It's something I'd eat again probably, but not something that appeals to most people and not something I'd seek out frequently.

Honestly, neither item jumped out at me as something I HAD to try, but I kind of sort of really need that Han Solo box. I like chorizo and spicy food so I thought the First Order Burger sounded interesting. But truthfully I'm ok with getting the new Jedi Burger, and knowing I'll like it.

We ate at the Galactic Grill twice last week. We aren't locals so we had no idea the menu recently changed. I got the Wicket veggie wrap sandwich- it was very good. DS10 got the First Order burger. He liked it even though it had a lot of "stuff" on it. DH and DD12 also got the veggie wrap, they both also liked it. Must try Darth by Chocolate!! So good!

Is the veggie wrap now in a tortilla or something, instead of a bun? I'm keeping a list for my daughter who recently went vegan, of options that are either already vegan or easily made vegan with some small changes.

I had the Jedi chicken sandwich back in Feb and it was one of the worst meals I have ever had (and I've had some doozies). Seriously disgusting.

Tom and I ate there today and had the new burger - First Order, and chicken sandwich - Jedi Order, and cut them in half so we could try them. He vlogged it so I'll link the video once he finishes putting it together. We both liked the chicken sandwich, but the burger was just okay, and it was more expensive than the cheeseburger. For the price, I'd rather have the chicken sandwich... and the fruit was delicious.
