Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions for a new camera. I really appreciated it, because I think I ended up with an excellent choice.
Okay, so I know very little about photography, but with my new camera, and the book "Understanding Exposure" I am looking forward to having fun learning.
This was one of my first shots the day I got my camera. I am very happy with it (even though there's room for lots of improvement) because I just put it on automatic, and I was sitting pretty far away in the bleachers for my son's baseball game.
Anyway, I just wanted to say "thanks" to everyone here who helped me out!
I hope to post some more pictures as I learn along the way.
