Hi, I'm Amanda from Texas. I'm joining the boards because my mom is taking me, my husband and my 3 kiddos to Disneyworld in May! We're very excited and we're looking for tips on how to balance a DW vacation with a 9 year old, 5 year old, and 11 month old.

The most important tip I can give you is not to stay all day. Either go early and then home early, or build in some time in the afternoon to go back to your hotel and take a nap. You will enjoy your time SO much more if you do this!

Howdy from another Texan! We have found that with our kids, 9, 4, and 2, it's best to take breaks through out the day. We typically go to the parks in the morning, then around 11 head back to the resort for some R&R, eat and go back to the park that evening. Another great tip is the parent swap for more of the thrill rides. Have fun planning.

We are also going from May 27-June 2nd!!

I took my 8 year old, 5, and 2 yr old about 3 weeks ago. I took breaks and took snacks and juices inside the park so we wouldn't leave too early. We got there about rope drop and left about 12pm so we could nap or relax at the hotel and went back. This definitely seemed to work!!

According to this Gabriel person's profile, she hasn't logged onto disboards since October 2010. I noticed that you've tried to reach her by posting to several very old threads, and by posting to her profile. I think that, perhaps, disboards isn't the best avenue with which to contact her.
