NEW Free Dining Pin!!

I heard rumor that there was a free dining pin starting today, so I called WDW and asked if we had it and she said yes! The best news is that it INCLUDES Port Orleans Riverside!!! We are a family of 6 (one child under 3) and this is the only way we could go, so I am SUPER excited!! She did say it was good for the same dates as the GP promotion but it included other resorts.

We are booked over Christmas and New Years at POR!! SOOOOO happy!!

Who typically gets the PINs? I've only been once in my adult life (2012 during FD then), and live north of the border? Is there any point bothering them? I assume if you get one, you are emailed/mailed it.

I was not emailed or mailed the pin. I do get pins in both email and mail from time to time but didnt get this one mailed or emailed. I called and asked and the lady was super friendly and just as excited about the pin as I was. I would call if you are hoping for the pin. Its not that big of a deal.

ME TOO! I am convinced they must be rolling their eyes for those calls. I've only ever called once. I might just bring it up when I call cancel other res.

I have not actually received the PIN yet (just called and found out we had it) but according to reliable source black562, the dates are

August 25 - October 3
October 19 - November 1
November 9 - November 22
December 12 - December 23

So they are generally the same as the public dates, with a few extra days (including a few days the last week of August - yay!).

I just recieved this very same pin in my email for FD for mostly all of the same dates as the GP offer. Both Port Orleans are included, I guess because these pins are so limited so not everyone gets them. Hope you all get one who wanted to stay at POR or FQ!!!!

Yup, just got the same email. I do not think many rooms are POR/FQ are available though. For multiple dates I tried there were no standard rooms and only royal rooms for POR.

I just got the same email. Almost everybody else I've traveled with has received a PIN code, but this is a first for me. Of course, we've already gone once this year...

I got one in my email just now and immediately called and got it! We decided to reserve POFQ even though we couldn't get Free Dining because we love it so much, and then the pin came! And the email stated you had to stay 5 nights, so I thought that might disqualify us, but they said the 4 nights was okay. Can't tell you how thrilled I am right now!

I checked my hubby's email just now, and he has a FD pin!!! So much excitement. Switching from CBR (our third choice) to POFQ (our first choice)!!!! He and I are so excited about the queen-sized beds. This is my first time staying in a MOD, and I can't wait!!!!!!!
