I received a free QS dining pin email for dates through August 14th. Is it still possible to check in on the last day of the promo and get the offer for the length of stay? Thanks for any help.

Yes. As long as you check in on or before the last day of the promo, you're entire stay (up to 14 nights?) will be covered. I know this because my brother is checking in on 8/14 and is using the Kids Stay, Play and Dine Free promo for 9 nights (8/14-8/23) and that promo also ends on the 14th.

You can also upgrade to the regular dining plan for $3 per child under 10 per night, $15 per adult (10+) per night.

For anyone thinking those upgrade prices are off - summertime premium pricing for the dining plan will be in effect for the entire lenth of the stay because check-in is on the 14th. Trust me - I had a half hour discussion with the CM when I changed my brother's ressie from 8/15 (reg DDP price = $41.99) to 8/14 (reg DDP = $46.99).

I have a pin for Free QS. but only til Aug 14th. I was hoping to go the last week of sept. I asked the CM when the current offers ends when will be the next offer that comes. She told me it will be end of April/may. It is weird that Disney would have 3 offers going at one time then no offers for 2 months ???????????????? Doesn't make sense.

Offers are made available based on demand.

In January, Free dining PINs went out that covered August 14th to October 2nd. QSD for values, and basic for others.

This was also last fall's bounceback offer, except all resorts (including values) got basic dining.

I do expect the next public offer to come out end of March, beginning of April, to be FD for 8/14 to 10/2. However based it might only be QSD.

Disney mentioned it will be cutting down the discounts. This is not a bad way of doing it - quick service for free, but you can pay the difference for higher services.

My only PIN I ever received was in January as I mentioned above, however I am already booked with the bounceback offer. So the only PIN I ever got was useless to me...

Got this one myself today. Hoping that the offer of free dining during the summer months bodes well to Disney offering free DDP(regular Dining) starting on 8/15 (value season). We actually got the PIN in Feb for the free dining starting on 8/15, QSDP at the values and Reg at the Mods and Deluxes, so we booked a cabin at FW, but then we decided we wanted to take my wife's mom with us this trip, which bumped us up to 7 people, and 1 too many for the cabin's so hoping that Disney offers free regular DDP to the values after 8/15 so we can switch to two rooms at POP, otherwise we'll switch to the two POP rooms and pay for the DDP upgrade. Wow..that makes 3 PINS so far this year that I've gotten.

So have a question of those who have done the bounce back offers...what do you have to pay up front? What I mean is you are at Disney and are told if you book now for next year you can have free dinning...if I say "YES" then what do I have to pay right then??
Would love to get the offer but are usually on a very limited budget when we are down there are would not be able to afford to pay much for the reservation.

Deposit for a BB package is $200 per room. If you're booking a room only res it's one night plus tax.

The FD BB is a package, so a $200 deposit is charged to your credit card before you hang up. You CAN tweak the res dates, resort, and room category after you get home IF it's available for the BB promo, but the initial booking MUST be done before you check out of your resort.

The deposit is fully refundable if you choose to cancel, all other normal MYW package terms apply. Do NOT add trip insurance up front! That premium is nonrefundable. If you want the insurance, add it at final payment time.

You can add a PIN code to a previously booked trip, but you can't stack discounts so have the CM price the PIN code out for you separately before changing the res you have. Not all resorts or room categories are available for every PIN code or promotion. The res you already have may have a different discount, so decide which one works better for you.

IF your travel dates fall in the promo and there is availability at the resort / room category you currently have booked -- then yes.

Otherwise you may have to be flexible (ie:change) your resort or room category to get the offer.

They can handle this for you on the phone.

Call and ask.

I got an email today which I thought was the Free DIning pin but it was just telling me about the GC!!! ARGHHH!! This is our FIRST trip to Disney & this is not leaving a good feeling with me.. it just does not seem fair that some people get these & other people do not & there is no rhyme or reason to it! I am sure we will have a great time but not sure if we will go back anytime soon.

I'm wondering if it would be cheaper for me to rebook and cancel DH's or to keep his reservations. It would be a no brainer if we were going with the kids. But it's just DH and myself. We would be upgrading to Deluxe Plan also.

Same dates and same details. Interesting that it is going to cost $5 extra per day during the summer for Dining. Seems like at some point it just is not worth it.

I just applied this to my ressie for 7 nights in June and upgraded to regular dining! We were booked under the 25% off room. This pin saved us over $300!We are 2 adults & 2 kids under 9 at Pop btw....

It can stay under your husbands name as long as your in the party thats going, and usually is good for up to three rooms for your party. A code came in my mother in laws name, everything was booked under me. The code was applied to three rooms, 7 people total all free dining no problem.
We also got this code today, we were allowed to apply it to an already existing reservation we have the typical full dining plan (1TS, 1QS & 1 Snack) we were allowed to apply the cost savings and keep the full dining plan. We are staying at POP 11 days end of June approx. $1,000 savings. And best thing is, if we happen to get a better code we will be able to apply that and save even more $$.

LOL that's how I feel too!!!!! I was so bummed when I spoke w/ this really nice CM today, who seemed to be really taking his time and checking into things and was very pleasant as he informed me..."no pin"
