New Free Dining Pin w/ extended date and QS?

Did anyone else receive a new pin code email from Disney Destinations that offers free dining later in the year and an option to book the quick service plan?

It has Goofy on it. Now I'm trying to figure out if it would be a better deal to do the quick service and go later in the year instead of doing free dining at the end of August

If you don't mind, what are the extended dates on it? I would have rather gone later in the year, but am going late Sept due to free dine.

I did not get a free dining pin, but I did get one for ticket upgrade. It offers free hopping and water parks. Oct 2 to Nov 28. I am not using it. I would love to get a free dining pin. Please let us know the details.

Free Quick Service Dining Plan
$472 / per adult, based on adult double occupancy in a standard room at a select Disney Value Resort. For stays most nights 10/2/09–11/24/09 .

and

Free Regular Dining Plan
$617 /per adult, based on adult double occupancy in a standard room at a select Disney Moderate Resort. For stays most nights 10/2/09–11/24/09 .

Both say based on 4/day 4/night vacation with theme park tickets.

For Value for 4 days 4 nights you get Free QS dining for $472 per adult and for the Mod you get the free Disney Dining Plan for $617 per adult both in standard rooms.

I'm not sure we will be able to use it We just cancelled a free dining trip for the end of August b/c of schedule changes - I'm wondering if that has anything to do with receiving this one. I doubt they would be that logical though

I want to know if the numbers make this thing a good deal or not, guess I will have to call this weekend and start thinking about it!

Mine says "Big Kids get little kid's prices" 10/2/09 - 11/24/09.

This is the 2nd PIN i have ever received after already booking a vacation, I just don't understand how that works Why not send me one for a different time, not a month after I am already going to be there?

Yeah! I got my 1st pin! It's so funny - I read your posting then immediately went to check my email and low and behold I had the offer in my mailbox. I can't believe it. I contemplated going in Aug. with the free dining deal and actually had a ressie on hold for me for Aug. and then later canceled. I was just at Disney for Spring Break in early April and didn't book the bounce back which you are required to do while at Disney. I felt really bad about that when the magic began to fade after coming home. Then today, April 30 it was there - my 1st pin. I could jump for joy! Has anyone else gotten the pin after just returning or after a canceled ressie like me? Just wondering?

I got a really good deal through expedia, but I would love to have the dining plan, so it may be worth switching to if they make it available. However, I wonder if you can get it for more than 4 nights? We are staying for 7.

I haven't received the email. I too just got back April 1st and could kick myself for not booking the bounceback offer while there. I should have done it and said nothing to my hubby. I could have upgraded the 4/3 tickets and got BC at 40% off. CRYING AGAIN because I miss it already!!!!!

I haven't cancelled a ressie but I *did* pass on the bounceback offer when I was in WDW this past December. I didn't book it when we stayed at Pop or the Poly. I did book the 4/3 special and that's what I'm doing for our June stay. My TA just said I'm the first of her clients to have gotten this pin.

This trip is going to be such a nice 'belated birthday' present for my daughter.

Here's hoping some more folks get this pin.

I guess this is a trial of a tiered FD system that was talked about when the new QS category was announced. QS for the value and regular for the moderates and deluxes.

I just want to cry. I got this and I want to use it but we are not planning to back until 2010. How to make DH see what a good deal this is? Now if they were offering a bass pro shop Giftcard as well he would be on the phone booking the trip ASAP.

Woo Hoo - my first pin!!! I got the one with Goofy on it also that says Big kids get little kids prices. Free quick service dining plan - 4 day/4 night package for $471.

Boo Hoo - Can't use it. We already have a trip planned for June (Yippee) - but was still really excited to finally get a pin after all these years.
