Many thanks to whoever posted that alternate phone number for discount codes. ( was going to go back and find the post and quote it, but it takes several minutes right now for each DIS page to load!) I had been on hold for some time on the regular number but left the phone to run out to the car and get my cell phone. I just hung up with them, no longer than maybe 20 minutes on hold. I'm guessing that wait is longer now that more people tried, but it was far better than the main line since I just hung that one up without ever getting through.

The job is done, but man it would have been so much more fun if the DIS had been fully functioning. I had envisioned waiting with friends online. But even when it came back up, it was (and is) so slow that it's almost worthless.

After being hung up on after 52 min, called back and on hold for 1 hour 11 minutes, got through to a CM who still had a smile in his voice and booked POP for 11/1 for 6 nights with free dining. Had to change from my original check in date of 10/25.

He said there were over 400 people on hold.

This is ridiculous. I've been on hold for 2 hrs and 15 min. Getting ready to give up and call back later.

Mousesavers site says this...Offer is valid for check-ins 10/2/11-10/8/11, 10/30/11-11/5/11, 11/13/11-11/19/11, 11/27/11-12/3/11, 12/11/11-12/17/11, 1/8/12-1/14/12, 1/22/12-2/4/12, 2/12/12-2/18/12, 3/4/12-3/10/12 and 3/25/12-3/31/12. Some dates may have extremely limited availability. Some of the most popular resorts and/or room types may not have any availability. I just got through and got free dining for 10/25 to 11/1. So, some sites aren't posting the correct dates.

As I was doing the survery my phone battery started beeping.

Thanks, that helps because I noticed that too since we are checking in on the 23rd so hopefully they are offering it then too.

My bil got through in 15 minutes and the operator said we could not get free dining even though we were checking in Nov. 18 because Thanksgiving was blocked out. He tried to get him to put a supervisor on, but the guy wouldn't budge. Knowing better, I called. I waited an hour and 25 minutes and got free dining no problem for Nov. 18-27. The operator said, "Perfect. You are checking in on the 18th. If you were checking in on the 19th it wouldn't work." She quickly saved us about $1300. Thank you disboards and Danny!

For the record...been on hold 2 hours 19 min after being told a 15 min wait at 7am on the dot!

I was just going to post the same thing. I was hoping that the rumors about September free dining were going to be true,but I guess I'll just have to wait. Also wanted to let people know the website says it's available Oct 23- Nov 5th since I know there was some confusion.

Ugh, if those new blackout dates are correct I'm going to be seriously sad. We are checking in on the 28th and I've now been on hold for an hour and 46 minutes. If its all for nothing, I am going to cry.

It is online now and starts the 23rd!

It took a long wait on the phone, but we got our booking with FD!!!! Had the nicest CM on the phone too!!!!

Note: What a morning! The disboards crashed, and it took me 3 dropped calls (last one was my fault becuase the battery dies on my phone!) before we got through on the phone to make the reservation. Wait was over an hour. Had to modify our dates a bit because the actual free dining dates were a little different than the rumored ones had been. But, in the end, everything was booked and I couldn't be happier!!!! YAY!!!!

When I called I somehow got routed around to a cast member who deals with tickets. She was able to get me to a resort reservation specialist in no time. On and off the phone in 14 minutes!

Got ours done. We had no hold music and were connected so no worries.

Oct 5 - 10 at Pop Century.

We have never stayed there but my son wants to stay there so we're giving it a shot. Im going to miss my AKL but Ill be in Disney so its all good.

Hoping to get the same time frame at Pop Century, love Pop Century . On hold for over 30 minutes Thank God for speaker phone have on hold music so at least I know I am still connected.

Online reservations now available hanging up had enough of the on hold music making me want to be at a park.

We have all of ddr made and back ups, you know once all of the "rookies" get free dining they will go crazy making all kinds of reservations and never show up.

Can someone who has the information post the codes for each level. I saw a post a few pages back with value and mods. This thing is moving so fast and the board is still loading very slow.

Officially told the promo goes till October 8 then stars again on the 28. So if you are staying for MNSSHP you won't get dining it appears.

I might be confused as to what you are saying so bear with me! LOL
I booked Oct. 27- Nov.1 and bought MNSSHP tix and got free dining.
