New FP+ rules

A few weeks ago I read that Disney was going to change the FP+ system to allow more than three per day (once you use your initial 3) and to allow park hopping. Anyone know when those changes are going to take place? Have they already?

I used to be an expert FP user....now I feel like a rookie and I leave in 27 days!!!

They have just said "soon". We were there a week ago and Cast Members had no idea about it.

Just came back this past weekend. The CM I talked to said they are not sure when, but it would be "soon." Whenever that is. He said they are still tweaking the FP+ for park hopping.

I am going this weekend and hope to find out as I have a AP and Park hop all the time cant wait till I can make plans for more than 1 park!!!

The last I read, they were just starting to poll people about it. It could be months before they decide which approach to take, if they haven't already.

Yesterday, one poster on the TPAS board reported that this was offered to them but they didn't attempt it because you have to make the 4th FP at a kiosk, not on your phone, and the lines were prohibitive. She said you can only make that 4th FP after you have used all your existing FPs. I do not believe availability was posted by any other people… might be more evidence/info available today. My guess is they will wait until at least April 28th, after the crowds and confusion of Easter vacation week are over.
