New FP rules! Confused! Please help

Hi! FP question? If I don't book my fast passes online can I still do it at the park? If I can do it at the park...do I have to pick 3 FP options as you do online or can I still just do one? I'm very confused about the new FP procedure! For example if my son, hubby & daughter all want FP for space mountain but I don't cuz I don't ride thrill rides but they're doing it online &forced to choose 3. Ok so they have their 3 FP but now my daughter & I want to see Ana & Elsa. Can we do that? Or does my daughter have to use her 3 FP first

You can select each person in your party individual. Everyone does nto ahve to have the same 3 FPs. I think that may answer your question...

If you want a FP for Anna and Elsa, you need to book that online......it is highly unlikely that you will find that particular FP at the park. It's hard to get it at the 60 days out.

But, as someone else, said, you have the choice of booking FP online (or in the park) for each person individually. Like you, I have different preferences from my daughters so we book some individually and some together.

Btw, rearranging FPs in the park is so easy using the My Disney Experience App on a mobile device. I had zero problems reworking my FPs on the fly throughout the day. With the free wi-fi was a total cinch.

But the kiosks are easy enough..just a matter of locating where they are.

Once you've used your first 3 FPs, you get a 4th...but these can't be done on the app, only at a kiosk. Haven't heard about any changes to that policy. The 4th is a revolving FP...so use it...then go back to a nearby kiosk if you want to use it again.

ok so if i have 3 fp for say the 3 mountains--space mountain 9:35 to 10:35 am, big thunder mount 10:40 to 11:40 am, splash mount 12:10 pm to 1:10 pm. lets say i use my fp for space mountain and big thunder mountain but i get lucky and am able to ride splash mountain before my fp time. what are my options? can i change my fp selection, can i get another one. thank you for the help. maybe im overthinking this but i am so confused its not even funny. can i edit my fp selections once ive used the first pass? the second?

You can go on the App and edit your FP+ selection and pick a different experience if you do not want to use it for a ride you have rode as standby.

I did but it actually confused me even more. Also I'm new to this forum so all the abbreviations confuse me. I think I'm in panic mode & my brain is just not functioning properly

I thought that i read somewhere here that you were able to select the 4th FP on your phone but that you had to do it through the website browser, NOT the APP. The APP wasn't capable of doing it but by using either a computer or the browser on your phone (same thing) you could do it without having to run to a kiosk? Not sure, nor trying to be critical, just looking for clarification for the original poster and myself.

In your above scenario you can change the Splash FP to a different time or attraction, or you can let the FP+ expire.

You can get a 4th FP, but only after you use the third or the time expires for the third. Then you can get a 4th at a kiosk. When you use that one you can get a 5th, etc.
